Light weights cheap and working fine

I've been swimming everyday more than an hour wearing this watch in pool water since April 1 and the watch is in perfect condition so I wonder why seller now says it's not for swimming.

The overall appearance is as advertised and it's easy to setup. The character set used is rather primitive, sort of etch o' sketch characters. The buttons are not easy to use, they are very exposed and awkward to press. The stop watch is what is really strange. I'm a runner and I like to use my watch for splits. This watch doesn't want to do that. I hit the lap button and the time stops but for only about a minute, then it will increment by 90 seconds or so on it's own. It's really bizarre. I usually leave the lap time until my next mile and then I do it again. forget it with this watch. Very strange. I only paid $10 for the watch so I don't expect much but I've owned other $10 watches (running) and they work. This watch acts like it's haunted. I don't recommend it.
