well made mouse trap
When I found out that I have uninvited guests, my friend recommended galvanized traps made2catch because they are strong and can be used repeatedly. On Amazon I found galvanized rat traps, but also similar mouse traps. In the picture, both traps looked alike, so I didn't know which one to buy. Mouse traps were more and were cheaper, so I hesitated. Eventually I bought rat traps and mouse traps. I chose a smaller package, so the price of two smaller packages was almost the same as for one larger package. And it was a good choice. What the picture looked like almost the same is actually a big difference. The mouse trap is significantly smaller and at first sight you can see that it is intended only for mice and similarly a little vermin. The rat trap is a deadly machine. It is massive with a strong spring, and it needs to be very careful when using it, because it would surely break the human finger.I took a picture of both traps next to each other to see the difference in size. They look like a big and a little brother. It's a pitty that the vendor did not make a similar photo. This would make it easier for many people to make decision. Both traps look good, but I haven't used them yet, so I don't know how they will work. However, I believe my friend and reviews from other buyers are also excellent, so hopefully they will work well.

Great trap
I've had really good luck with these traps. I use the rat version of this trap as well. I use a glue gun to hold the bait in place. Dog food works for me. I also set the trap so it takes very little pressure to set it off. The jagged teeth at the end of the trap work well at preventing escape or will cause enough damage to where the rodent will die from blood loss. One minor note, the trap will slightly warp if set for a long period of time. The trap still works well so it's a none issue for me. In my opinion, probably the best spring trap on the market. I've reordered several times.

someone actually improved on the snap trap rodent trap
the coated metal hopefully will last longer than the wood traps that deteriorate so quickly outdoors in the weather. nothing more satisfying than to find a dead rodent in a trap.

The best traps money can buy.
I have rodents (and not the kind that you feed your snake or keep as pets).Given the number of times that I've had to rebait traps without a kill, I've done a lot of research on Youtube to see why the little guys survive. Mice are pretty fragile and rarely escape a trap due to their thin skulls and lack of muscle and weight if the trap bail comes down on a nonvital area, but RATS!! Rats will wrestle loose of the trap and then eat the bait to spite you. The videos are eerie. You should check `em out. Many do-it-yourselfers will tap sharp brads or other spikes into the trap to ensure that the rats can't wriggle loose. But they still do about half the time. Others use short lengths of hacksaw blades wrapped around the business end. This usually does the trick. But why go to all this trouble? Now thanks to made2catch, you don't have to. The traps come with their own sawblade edge to hold the rodent fast to the trap. The killing bar's spring is STRONG. Also, the steel or brass body of the trap is hollow so that the bar comes down all the way, putting even more pressure on the rodent's body and ensuring it won't escape. There is literally negative thickness between the saw edge and where the bar ends up when it it triggered. These things are foolproof, rust-resistant, washable so they won't hold scents--they are GENIUS.Allow me to correct my earlier statement. I have DEAD rodents.Don't hesitate. Buy today.

Bad product do not buy.
Too small, even a lizard goes away with it. Spring is too weak. Amazon reviews are becoming a scam. Those users that say this product is good are lying here. What a waste of money!.

Weak spring, trigger needs adjustment, great construction.
Excellent, bulletproof construction! Extra teeth on the frame look great. The killbar spring is 25% weaker than the Tomcat traps I have (13.7oz vs 18.6oz at 90*).The trigger wire/catch mostly needed adjustment. Some hooked up hard and would never fire, some slipped right off before you could set them down. Easy tweak with thumbs/pliers.I haven't caught anything yet, but no trips either. I'm hopeful, because these look cool.

Worked so well I got 4 more!
Had to spend some time in the hospital, which left my country place empty and unattended for a time. Came back, and found critters running about.Put out the old wood and wire jobs, and they laughed as they stole the cheese or peanut butter. These don't allow that.Catches 'em solid and snaps the neck/spine like a twig - fast, merciful, and clean. The teeth and upturned edge work in combination with the strong ( I mean really strong!) spring to dispatch the unwanted guests near instantly.I've used both peanut butter - smeared on a cotton ball and tangled on the spike in the pan - and since the critters seem to have gotten a bit smarter, I take some fishing line and tie a Tomkat bait cake on there so if they manage to avoid the snap, the bellyache gets 'em.

Like me, you're probably in a hurry looking for ...
Like me, you're probably in a hurry looking for a quality metal trap because you found an attic rat or something like that... Well, don't click BUY on this item yet (see my picture). They seem to be good quality but the SIZE is small, like really small... Maybe ok for field mice, but NOT a roof rat which is much better, never mind a norway rat which is even larger. Based on web cams, the smaller traps would snap and miss with my skittish attic rat but I finally got him with the BIGGER snap trap (just barely got him)...
