This works with my old batteries BL 1815
This works with my old batteries (BL1815) and charged them with no issues at all. I don't know the longevity of this product, but it looks and feels very similar to the original Makita charger. I think this is a great value around $25.00, considering I had lost my old charger in a move and did not want to by new drills.

Charges the battery just as fast as the original Mikita charger did. But I never heard the cooling fan come on like I’m used to.

This one died on the first day. the one I bought before this one lasted 2 months.
Save your money. I bought one over a year ago and it still works. I bought abn additional one as a backup and it lasted a month. I had left it at a customers house and it was returned broken. I thought maybe they had accidentally dropped it. I purchased a new one that never left my sight and it lasted 1 day.

Great charger for great sander
Great option and great price compared to brand name item. Shipped quickly and so far works great. Small time user here of Makita sander so really hated to buy expensive charger I would only use occasionally. Time will tell I guess but to date happy camper.

Good value
This charger works good if you use a genuine Makita battery. It will not charge my off brand battery but a real makita will.
