Cool Knife as Usual for S&W and an Awesome Karamabit Knife
I really like this knife, it comes really tight, so if you want to be able to flip it open, you'll have to loosen the screws; however, that's not a big deal. It obviously doesn't have auto-assist, but I got a heck of a deal on it, it's super sharp and I've gotten compliments on it. I own quite a few S&W M&P knives (and firearms), I think they're great quality for a much cheaper price than Benchmark, which I always used to buy, but unless you can get a really good deal on one, I'd go with S&W but that's my personal opinion on the company overall. The various S&W M&P knives I have are all different styles. I've owned Karamabit knives before but this thing is absurdly sharp, I stupidly cut my finger opening it and it was a light graze. That's something that rarely happens to me when I buy a new knife. I highly recommend this, the design is pretty cool honestly, I'd prefer a digi desert camo, but that's just me. Cool knife though and definitely a great self-defense knife due to the nature of Karambits and how sharp it is.

Karambit
The media could not be loaded. Feels nice in the hands and overall a favorite piece of mine

It's a cool knife with one flaw.
I love this knife, and Karambit in general. In fact I bought 2 of these, even if one was by mistake. It's a good weight, sharp, fun to pull out. The only flaw it has, and I have to take a star, is that it's exceedingly hard to unfold one handed. Part of the fun of a Karambit is whipping it out and quickly flipping the blade. There is no assist of any kind on this knife which kind of sucks. So for personal defense I will likely continue to use Smith And Wesson's sheathed version instead.

Sweet Deal
Pleased with the feel and quality of the knife. opens and closes smooth no issue locking in place. my only grip is there is not a way to flip it open one handed. a simple notch or nob on the blade would allow this like most knifes have standard. Its no deal breaker but it would be nice if it had the option.

Sharp, menacing, thin, poorly designed.
First, it's worth noting that this knife is VERY wide when closed. Two inches wide and five inches long. Despite being only a quarter of an inch thick (not counting the clip), it takes up quite a bit of pocket real estate.Provided size isn't an issue, this knife is alright. It arrived literally razor sharp, feels sturdy, and holds an edge fairly well. Also, unlike the very similarly-designed Smith & Wesson CK33 4.7" Hawk Bill Plain Blade Extreme Ops, the finger-ring is smooth and allows for comfortable spinning. That said, let's talk downsides.Firstly, there are no thumbstuds with which to open the blade. Putting your thumb in the hole in the blade is the only means by which you can open the knife with one hand while still holding onto the handle. This means this knife cannot be flicked open like the knife I linked earlier, and the inside of the hole in the blade is not rounded whatsoever. This means a slight cutting feeling as you use your thumb to open the knife.Secondly, and this might be unique to the one I was shipped, the linerlock actually pushes the blade into the inside of the handle, thus scraping the blade whenever you open and close the knife. So, honestly, this knife is inconvenient in almost every way imaginable. It's cumbersome, awkward to operate, and self-damaging. I can't honestly recommend it, despite how menacing it looks and how inexpensive it is.

Great knife
This is a great knife and comes out of the box nice and sharp. I feel I have medium-large hands and the karambit just fits perfectly around my index finger, not too big not too small. Be very careful if this is your first karambit, the point of this knife is VERY sharp. I am a new karambit owner and have seen some of the youtube videos on how to use a karambit and decided to try. while carefully spinning the blade around my finger, I still managed to land the knife in my wrist making a pretty deep penetration considering that the knife had little momentum other than the weight of the blade falling down onto my wrist. Speaking of weight, it is pretty light-weight but feels very solid and durable. I was a little skeptical about the liner lock because my previous Smith & Wesson folder's liner lock was not so good. The liner lock seemed to be very solid and reliable. I've read about the powder-coat being easily scratched but haven't noticed it yet, I've had it for about a month. All and all, it seems like a durable, reliable, and sharp knife. Great buy!
