These do work really well and aren't too expensive given the cost of remedial work if loft condensation got out of hand. You can feel the breeze through the entire loft now compared to before and my condensation problem cleared up almost immediately.

The simple solution is to bring ventilation to the loft area.

For the longest time, manthorpe had the monopoly of felt lap vents on Amazon, charging around £2 per item. These vents are 3d printed, and someone with an at-home printer could print their own for around £0.25 per unit.These non-manthorpe units take the sting off the price gouging somewhat, they’re affordable and better quality. Fully recommend these if your attic has condensation issues, they will allow good airflow throughout (assuming your felt has been installed properly to begin with).

These air vents are ideal to keep condensation from forming in new build lofts that have no air vents. Very light and easy to fit. I fitted them to the fibreglass membrane and they don't put any weight on it. Noticed the difference in the loft a few days later.
