I had a manual one I had bought off tictok when they first became popular, and it worked pretty well but had trouble staying mounted. So I thought I'd give an electric one a go. So far I'm very happy with it. It grated a block of cheese in roughly 10 secs. The blades interchange easily and it's easy to clean, plus you don't have to worry about a suction cup type mount. Worth the money.

My manual crank shredder came with three attachments but naturally the one I used nine times out of ten broke. Bought this for my partner and she absolutley loves it, no more cutting and hand cranking cheese. It is easy to use, easy to clean, even with the cheese that normally stick (fontina) after freezing for 30 minutes. Thanks to this I get a 5 cheese homemade pizza tonight.

First of all, its feeder is too small. I have to chop the mid size onion into smaller pieces to fit into the feeder. Many layers of onion get stuck between the blade and housing. Whatever passes through blade gets more mushed than shredded. Lots of food waste because some pieces of onion stuck between feeder and stumper. Doesn’t work for me. Maybe, it’s me the one who doesn’t know how to operate this. I think it is pretty simple. You press the stumper to shove the food (chopped to the size of the tube) down to the blade, and the other hand to press button to make it spin. Other people with video work just fine or maybe it is just onion. My main purpose of buying this machine was for slicing onion to stop crying.
