Masters of Universe Origins Turtles of Grayskull Ninjor Reptile Wars Posable Action Figure, Teenage Mutant Ninja & Motu Crossover Villain Ninja Toy

Is it worth getting this version of Michelangelo for your Turtles of Grayskull collection? I think it's the better Mikey figure for sure, but it doesn't come with standard chain nunchucks which might bother some folks, and the expression is more serious and less "goofy party dude" - though that's not a negative to me, I think they went too big with that first face.So yeah, this Reptile Wars version is the superior Masters of the Universe Turtles of Grayskull Michelangelo. The head looks better without the buggy eyes, overboard expression, and seam lines breaking up the muzzle; plus the bandana tails are more in scale and articulated. The arms have removable bracelets, and the lower leg wraps have orange painted details. Reptile Wars Mikey's add-on armor bits have a fine metallic sheen to them. The new shell-shield has a sharper sculpt and the storage wrap is lower down, although it only really holds one pair of nunchaku.That said, the original Mikey did have his initial painted on his chest where this one has none. That first Michelangelo figure also had chain nunchucks, where this Reptile Wars one has a removable electro effect for each. However, Reptile Wars comes with a little coupling part so both sets of nunchaku can be married together to create a super weapon - the packaging and minicomic highlight that Mikey has invoked the power of Grayskull through his nunchaku to explain this weapon effect.Reptile Wars Mikey's chest armor is flexible enough to allow for bolder poses, and stays on great; underneath is a plain version of the first Mikey's armored torso design. The waist skirt is reuse from Turtles of Grayskull Man-at-Arms', underneath is the standard trunks with a silver-painted belt over brown. The kneepads clip over the shins and are the same ones that come with Reptile Wars Donatello.

I have no intentions of opening this so I was glad the item was packaged well to prevent damage. It’s a nice collectible.
