Good for a basic tool kit
I bought this so I could put a starter tool kit together for a young family member. At the time, this was one of the least expensive tool bags on Amazon with good reviews. If you keep a couple of things in mind, this is worth buying. This isn't a Veto Pro Pac and it never will be. You're buying a bag that is less than $20, not $180+, so set your expectations accordingly. This is an ideal bag for an entry level tool kit, like the one that I put together. You won't spend very much on the bag so you can devote a little more money toward the contents. The one I put together held a socket set, hammer, screwdrivers, a couple of pliers, and a few other hand tools. Enough tools, in other words, to do some basic maintenance around the house or tackle some light repairs. This is also a nice tool bag for something application-specific. I have a similar bag that holds my PC repair tools. It has an Xcelite tool roll with screw/nut drivers, an interface cable so I can connect to both IDE and SATA hard drives, a bunch of interface cables/chargers, some bootable USB drives with repair tools, etc. This is my first line of defense when I have to repair or modify a computer and it has everything I need in one place so I can grab and go.This would also make a good bag for a vehicle emergency kit. It's large enough to hold a portable jump pack, a tire plug kit, a first aid kit, and maybe a bottle of water. Most people won't be inclined to change an alternator by the side of the road so you probably won't need much more than this. It will tuck out of the way in the trunk and keep things from scattering all over the place.Organization is OK. A couple of external pockets, a couple of internal pockets, and a black hole in the middle where you'll end up throwing most of your tools. The external pockets are open-topped and relatively wide so anything you put in them is prone to bouncing out and getting lost if the bag is jostled. The inside pockets are good for pliers, side cutters, flashlights, that kind of thing. Most other tools will be in the large center compartment so you'll end up rummaging around in there, but that's pretty much par for the course with small tool bags like this. It isn't large enough for anything to get really lost, and by the time you need better organization you'll probably have outgrown this thing.Over the years I've ended up with several work bags because I end up changing or upgrading my tool loadouts and the old bags no longer work for me. With an inexpensive bag like this, if you outgrow it you're not out much money. The one that I gifted hasn't seen much use so I can't comment on durability, but the quality looks fine. Way better than I expected for $20, and comparable to some of the entry-level Husky bags (of which I own 2).If I needed a small, inexpensive tool bag, I'd probably buy this again. It has a decent amount of organization, costs less than most of the tools you will put inside it, and seems to be well made.

sturdy smaller bag
good smaller tool bag perfect for my guitar maintenance tools. I pack all my smaller screwdrivers and cables, strings, pickups, tuners, etc in this bag which fits just enough not to be too bulky. The nylon is like the heavy duty ripstop like vinyl outside. Inside has some smaller pockets that line the inside for like screwdrives, string winders, etc. on the outside, there is only one maybe 4x4" covered pocket. two open pockets, no flap, and on the other side, a mesh net split into 3 sections to hold like loose larger parts. Overall, a decent bag, it does say amazon basics on the bag though, but it doesn't bother me.

Good for the price.
For the price I was expecting a cheaply made backpack. I was surprised when I opened it up and examined it. It's made of some decent material, stitched together well, and it seems fairly durable. Mind you I haven't put it through it's rounds yet, but for the price it seems a good tool bag.

Great Quality and Spacious Tool Bag
I am thoroughly impressed with its quality and functionality. Here are the key points that stood out to me:Durable Construction: The bag is made from high-quality, wear-resistant material that feels sturdy and durable. It can handle the rigors of daily use without showing signs of wear and tear.Spacious Interior: The 16-inch size is perfect for carrying a wide range of tools. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I could fit inside – everything from wrenches and screwdrivers to power tools.Convenient Design: The bag features multiple pockets and compartments, which help keep my tools organized and easily accessible. There are pockets of various sizes, perfect for storing smaller items like screws, nails, and bits.Comfortable Strap: The included shoulder strap is well-padded and adjustable, making it comfortable to carry even when the bag is fully loaded. The handles are also reinforced and comfortable to grip.Stable Base: The wear-resistant base provides excellent stability, preventing the bag from tipping over even when it's packed with heavy tools. It also protects the bottom of the bag from dirt and moisture.Great Value: For the price, this tool bag offers excellent value. It’s a high-quality product that’s built to last and performs as well as more expensive brands.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Amazon Basics Durable Wear-Resistant Base, Tool Large Standard Bag with Strap, 16 Inch.

Well made and roomy tool bags
I now have two of these. One is used for my drawing supplies and the other for my oil painting supplies. They are the perfect size for my long oil painting brushes, fit easily in my college art class lockers, hold tons of supplies, and are strong and sturdy. The shoulder strap works great for carting my art supplies from the parking lot to art classes and around campus. The heavy duty zipper keeps supplies well contained, much better than a lid that can pop open, spilling supplies.

Check measurements it has a triangle shape smaller at top larger at bottom
Sturdy but due to the shape it doesn’t hold as much as I need it to. It has a wider base with a narrowing as it closes. It has a triangle shape slopes inward towards the top of the bag. Definitely read measurements closely. I can still use for something else.
