My grandson loves it

This T-Rex is really cool. It's fast, it steers, roars, and "breathes fire!" All functions controlled by the wireless remote. It moves much faster than I expected which is fun. The mist from its mouth looks awesome with a red LED illuminating it and enhancing the effect. My 6 year old daughter loves this toy.Assembly was simple, but one of the front wheels was not attached when I opened the box. I used a pair of locking pliers to press the pin that holds the wheel back into place. It hasn't tried to come back out yet.If you're looking for a toy for a T-Rex loving kiddo, you can't go wrong with this one.

I could not be more ecstatic over this item. Major points first: Great quality. Excellent price point for the quality and functionality. Good design - though the little car front feet are a bit of a strange design, but whatever. Awesome size for kids and pets alike (we'll get there). It's pretty noisy, don't expect ANYthing less. The steaming breath and lights? Probably the best feature of all.First of all let me explain that I am 42 years old with a 43 year old husband. We have zero children and zero nieces or nephews. I am an avid dino lover and I have two cats. The toy came set on demo mode and as SOON as I took it out of the box, before I could even put the front legs and tail on, it began roaring and the light in its mouth was flashing - I was already in hysterics because it took me by surprise. My husband, who had no idea I had ordered it, was watching me unbox like I had lost my mind. My cats were watching WIDE EYED in terror with my witchery.I got the thing assembled, put it on the floor and with it in demo mode, the Rex roared while the legs wiggled and the tail waggled in place. My formerly feral cat proceeded to touch it from a distance, sniff it, give it the bite test...it didn't seem to be a threat so she dared climb over it. All was good. My tabby was not so certain. For anyone who owns a tabby you know they are the ones with the single brain cell that bounces around like the old DVD logo screen saver and he kept his distance.I got some AAs into the controller and THAT is when the party started.OH MY GOODNESS this thing has legs! We have a solid inch drop between the laminate flooring in the kitchen and the living room with an area rug in the LR and it had ZERO problem traversing the different flooring, nor did it have an issue with the shag area rug in the dining room or the regular cheap-o wall to wall carpeting in our den. This mfer moves. Terrible turning radius, but its speed is A+. Like, you wanna terrorize your pets? This is the guy. I have so many different remote control and automated toys for my cats and my formerly feral cat isn't fazed one little bit by any of them. But THIS guy had her shook.My poor tabby though...When I was finally over it for the time being, I turned it off and left it in the middle of the room, on its side, for them to inspect and it was no less than 3 minutes later that he was on me, rubbing my legs, purring, getting real friendly and wouldn't leave me be until he watched me put that dino into a closed tupperware bin - not really understanding it wasn't a sentient animal. Poor dude.Long review short...best remote control toy I've ever "bought". Highly recommend, even if you are paying the $35 for it!

This works great and looks exactly as it’s shown. My kid absolutely loves this and is in a huge dinosaur phase right now. I would say it’s definitely true to size. It entertains for hours.

This is the perfect toy for a little boy. I plan on making a big entrance with the fire breathing which is merely water mist but the toy is so impressive. Not only can you play with this without the steamed water, but you do not have to tell your child that it even does it.

This is a fun remote controlled T-Rex. The quality of the dinosaur is very nice and doesn’t feel cheap. The remote however is where it could be improved, it does feel cheaply made when compared to the dinosaur. The concept is nice of the buttons but they are confusing at first and takes some time to master. A small child might struggle with the controls. The added steam from the mouth is actually a nice touch and looks super cool in the dark. Overall, super solid T-Rex!

The media could not be loaded. Oh my goodness this thing is awesome! My kids are obsessed! We have actually had 2 other remote control dinos before, and this one is the best! It looks like a weird design to have the t-rex with cars under it's front arms, but it makes a lot of sense. It's the only way you could design it to be walking (not rolling) on its back legs, yet still stable enough to go around (on all terrain) without falling over! I was impressed with this things ability to go on carpet. I really like that it just charges with usb so we're not replacing a ton of batteries ( the controller takes batteries, but it has auto shut-off thankfully.) As mentioned, the controller is not intuitive, but you can figure it out after a minute, so it's not a big deal. LOVE it!
