This is the same price I paid for the Bokler trainer. That one was okay. Decent. This one is very nice for the price, at least compared to some other trainers.It's worth splurging the extra 20-30 bucks to get this. It is a zen pin construction, so it's easy to maintain and it comes with tools, spare parts, and instructions on maintenance, which was very handy when it came apart and I lost a washer. Took a new one, sanded it down, reinstalled it, oiled it, according to the instructions, and it was flipping better than ever. And it comes with loctite. You can't really flip without it.Slim but long profile with nice design features. It feels smooth and agile, not clunky, but has enough weight to make practicing a little more forgiving. For some reason as it came it was set to not go all the way into the handle but stay slightly open. After my reinstall, it closes flush and makes a loud and satisfying click-click. It's almost too loud, but I like it that way. Sounds badass.Really impressed with this trainer. I don't know why the company would make any others when this one is so good for the price, but I'm willing to try whatever they make. S-Tier. Heartily impressed.

Pretty much the standard good quality trainer. Worth the extra few bucks if you are at all serious about learning.

Genuinely the best balisong I've ever owned. I turned to this knife after watching Will Hirsch and thought I'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. It is very light, spins flawlessly, and endured a lot of falls onto wooden floor as I was playing with it. Still not a scratch.

It's a good trainer, good weight, good feel. Just overpriced!

I am a complete beginner coming into this new hobby. I am about 2 weeks into this and having a lot of fun learning different tricks. I already purchased another balisong and can't wait to see the differences between the two of them, if I can spot any differences at all lol. Definitely plan on getting better and doing harder tricks. The only thing that I can really say so far is that it is a lot heavier than what I thought it was going to be which was quite shocking for me, lol. I love the way the zen pins sound, it is more handle heavy based, it is easy to do the standard chaplin but having a lot of trouble learning how to do it vertically and moving it faster in a tighter circle without it falling off immediately. The standard fan is quite easy to do and I can do it forever on this thing. It is hard for me to put it down at times, I constantly find myself putting it down on the desk and seconds later picking it right back up twirling and flipping it around. It is very much like an adult fidget spinner and super happy I came across this and let my curiosity venture into this new passive activity.
