Excellent phone case. The material feels more like 'rubber' than 'leather' — and that's a good thing.

Peak design is one of the best iPhone covers ever. The magnet strength is outstanding and when you have all their other accessories, you can’t go wrong. It’s one of the best covers for the fit of the iPhone and value for money.

Ordered, but returned this case, unused, as i'd acquired one elsewhere while waiting about 3 weeks for this to come back in stock. So my review is about this product, but one i'd bought elsewhere and it's the exact same make, model, finish.The Peak Design mounting system is excellent. Much better than the Quad Lock system on my last phone as it's instant mounting and dismounting. The case looks more formally professional too and adds very little bulk to the phone. It has a separate mounting option on the base too for adding a camera style lanyard/strap, which could come in useful in certain situations.The downside for me though is that the Quad Lock case on my last phone had a deeper lip around the screen and felt built better and more rugged for mountain biking. It also felt more grippy in the hand. That said, my previous iphone smashed at the back after dropping it 1 too many times, so there are no certainties that an expensive phone was better protected in that case, but it did survive many drops and a few crashes prior to the drop that broke it in the Quad Lock case.The previous case was very easy to clean the mud from after a mucky ride too and i'm not so sure that this would be the case with this Peak Design case, having the textured finish.So positives:Excellent mounting system - useful for bike riding, night photography on a tripod etc where a quick mounting system would really suit me, having the mounts already.Low profile, less rugged case for a more formal appearance.Works faultlessly with a Magsafe charger.Can add camera straps/lanyards to the grill near the speakers.Negatives :Feels less rugged and I would prefer more bulk and grip for toughness.(Probably) harder to clean after a mucky ride.The case marks quickly when using a Magsafe charger by making a ring mark on the back, spoiling the more formal look.
