I would have liked to keep this product, but alas it did not work with my KitchenAid meat grinder, so I had to return it and 3d-print the part I needed.

This is a simple device that presses meat into the feed chute of the standard kitchen aid meat grinder. It’s a definite upgrade to the device that comes with the grinder. That pusher lets meat push past the end of the unit. This upgrades design greatly reduces this problem. It fits the grinder nicely and is a simple, yet effective addition.

I have been using a kitchenaid meat grinder attachment on my mixer for many years. The stuffer that comes with it is adequate, but not great. First, the face of the stuffer is a good bit smaller than the stuffing tube and has a flat plate that is open behind, so meat tends to push around it and clog up the action. Second, the handle is strong enough that I haven't broken it yet, but I always feel it flex and I have to remind myself to take it easy.This one is larger in diameter, and is the same diameter all the way down. This keeps meat from trying to push past the face and keeps the meat from slipping behind and clogging things up. It is also sturdier and shouldn't flex or feel like it's going to break when pushing cold meat into the grinder.This is a very basic device, but it does the job well. Beware that this item is hollow. Very light weight and flimsy.

Luckily this is lightweight. It looked thick and heavy in the ad.Floatable lightweight.Nice size, sturdy and lasting, versatile usage that will work well.
