The keys have the incorrect frequency for the vehicle it was installed on even though it was double checked to be the correct set per the supplier. This makes it so the keys cannot be programmed to the vehicle

2009 accord uses totally different electrical connections on the electrical side of this component. I re used the parts from the original part to make this work. The connectors in the car on the accord.would not plug in to replacement. Cut the chip out of the factory key and put it in the new key. This worked for what I needed as a quick repair to a damaged key tumbler.

Fit as it should for my Honda CR-V. I did have to swap chips from my old set of keys but so far haven't had any issues. Quality is what you'd expect but it's saved us quite a bit so far.

I drive an 08 Honda Accord… not a push start. Nothing fancy. Although it is the best trim, EX-L. I was out of my mind trying to fix my ignition!! My key broke off the fob before I bought the car so the entire 2 yrs I’ve had it, it’s been glued together. My key stopped workin out of the blue and being w.out a door key or a working key and fob, I was strapped. I changed out the cylinder, switch, and lock however the security of my vehicle wouldn’t allow it to stay running but it would start. Then the key stopped turning in the replaced ignition. I bought this item praying it’d fix my issue and VOILÀ!! The day I got my package, I had a programmer guy meet me at my car… took 10 mins to swap out everything and the dude took an additional 10 mins to program the key. I was so incredibly happy when the key started the car and kept it running!!! Dude cut me an additional key for the door and was in his way!! As I was on mine too!! I would buy this product over and over again if need be!! I recommend this product and merchant!! Package came early and in great condition!! Thank you sooooo much!!!

It is made of cheaper material but iv'e never installed one. I watched a great you tube vid an had it done in 1 hour.....only problem i had was removing the 2 safety screws because i tried using a wood chisel =(don't do this....use a solid steel chisel instead. I swapped my OEM transceiver to this unit as it didn't have 1 anyway than moved my keyfob transponder to the new key NO PROBLEMS! Started right up!
