Wonderful Game
Purchased as a gift for my mother. It was so nice, I bought one for myself.Game comes with a self contained case for portability. The case has two drawers underneath to hold the tiles and the tile holders. The game board is well made and the tiles fit in spaces securely. The board also turns! People who came to play on game night also loved the board.Definitely will be purchasing as gifts again!

Awesome scrabble board
This is totally worth the money if you play a lot of scrabble. This was a gift for my mom, we play a lot of scrabble when we get together and this was more of a gift to us lol! The wheels are perfect for turning the board around each turn, no more board on a lazy Susan. We can easily pack it up to take to our hunting cabin which we do often and there’s 2 drawers that hold all the pieces nice and neat. Each square has a raised boarder so the tiles stay in place when the board gets turned or bumped. What else can I say, it’s pretty much perfect and a must have for scrabble lovers!

Great Design, Very Sturdy, Wonderful
I was looking to get a nice scrabble game that was more than just the cardboard version. This version definitely delivered it has all the features that I was looking for in a "deluxe" scrabble. It holds the pieces in place on the board so I don't have to get frustrated with the words moving around, It has great storage on the sides for everything, It folds in half which makes it super easy for storage and has a nice handle for carrying it around, and the frame of the board which holds it all together is made with really sturdy plastic. I am very pleased with this purchase and am looking forward to playing many games of scrabble in the future.

The best set if the price is right.
So you may have noticed there's a Scrabble Diamond Anniversary Edition, and then there's this Amazon-exclusive Scrabble Deluxe Edition which, I might add, is WAY better than the current "Deluxe" edition in brick-and-mortar stores. But you may ask "What's the difference between this Deluxe and the Diamond Anniversary Edition?" and that's a really, really good question. The answer is: Not much.In fact, if you press the stickers on the sides down a bit you'll see that the plastic on this board actually has the logo for the Scrabble Diamond Anniversary Edition embossed into it, with a Scrabble Deluxe sticker pasted over the top of it to hide the previous branding. Yes, kids, this is a Scrabble Diamond board with new stickers. What else is different? The tiles. In the Diamond Anniversary Edition the tiles are black with silver letters embossed into them. In this set, the standard wooden tiles from classic Scrabble are in play. The wood tiles are *slightly* smaller than the black ones, so they sit in the grooves on the board just a little bit less snugly than the black tiles that this board was designed for, but not so much that it noticeable or a problem if you've never played the Diamond version. The racks are the same curved red rack from the Diamond version. The bag is a standard felt-like bag. The manual's actually pretty nice and detailed with some great information, variations on play, and suggestions. So basically, Hasbro mass-produced the Diamond Anniversary edition, and made a deal with Amazon to sell this version as a "lesser" model for a lower price, but the only thing "lesser" about it is the tiles. If you're really a stickler for a complete Diamond experience, I suppose you could buy some black and silver tiles separately for another fifteen bucks, but I don't see the need.I had the Diamond Anniversary Edition (lost it, though) and I have this Scrabble Deluxe Amazon Exclusive edition, and I'm here to tell you that if you're spending over a hundred bucks for a Diamond set, you're either a crazy collector, or easily duped into paying way more for nearly the same thing. This IS the Diamond board with a sticker on it.So how does it play? It's a great Scrabble set. The board spins by way of some wheels on the bottom (no, not a turntable, actual little wheels) and it's a smooth experience that makes game play easier for everyone around the table (though it likely won't spin on carpet.) The whole thing folds up for storage, with two plastic trays built in to hold the racks, scorepads, pencils, tiles, bag, and manual (scorepad sold separately, of course.)It's pretty easy to carry around, though I wouldn't call it totally "travel" sized. I wouldn't try to play in a car unless it was a very smooth-riding vehicle and the road had no chance of bumps. For travel it's best to have a magnetic set, which this is not. But for bringing along to places where you have a stable surface to play? Yeah, it's pretty handy.Bottom line: This is the Scrabble set to get if you want a turntable, don't want to spend a hundred bucks, and don't particularly care if the tiles are special limited-edition colors. This will do just fine.Five stars, no question.Update: As another reviewer notes, the tiles with this set are a bit lower quality than the tiles with the standard set. They're perfectly usable. They are all present (in my set, anyway) and the letters and numbers are legible. If you don't like them the easy solution is to swap your tiles from your previous standard edition (come on, you know you had one before buying a Deluxe edition!) or buy another set separately. They're inexpensive. However, I see no reason why most people wouldn't be perfectly happy with the tiles included with this set.

Scrabble
Me and my mom play Scrabble a lot. We had the original Scrabble game which is fun but she had mentioned this game before so I found this and got it for her for Christmas last year. This game is amazing. I love how the board has little slots for the tiles to fit in on the board. No more accidentally hitting tiles and moving the letters around. On this game the colored spaces on the board are a bit different than the original. The game has 2 drawers. One for the trays for your letters. These are also different. They are pink and curved. We have room for a small notepad and pencil for scoring in the same drawer as the letter trays. Then there is a tray for the letter bag. Also different in this game from the original game is this bag is a suede type material and has a draw string. The original was a grey plastic. And in case anyone doesn't know you are suppose to draw the letters out of the bag. We always turned them upside down in the lid of the game. If you read the directions there are is a lot of variety you can add to the game to play differently. We just make words and score. This game is a lot of fun and you can learn new words. If you are unsure about if a word is a legal scrabble work you can also google "is anyword a scrabble word" and it will pop up and tell you if it is in the Scrabble dictionary. I would recommend this to anyone who likes games or who likes playing Scrabble. I think it is a lot more fun than the original Scrabble game. Definitely worth the money.

Love Scrabble
This a great game. Love how you can store game pieces in compartment under the game board. The rotating feature gets a big thumbs. Overall I like the game board however game board is a little heavy and bigger than expected. I'm returning because the original box game is easy to store
