Worked great for about 6 weeks ... then the camera would no longer stream. Tried reset & add again .. but as the camera couldn't scan the bar code was unable to connect. No stars.Rip-off junk.

I am very pleased with this small camera.It is so versatile with its swivel lens and recording modes.The ability to record either with or without WiFi means that I can use it anywhere.Night vision is sufficient, and day vision is excellent.Its battery life is good for its size.The built-in magnet is a little weak so I glues on a stronger one.It’s app is very comprehensive and easy to use.Overall I am happy to recommend it.Further to original review:The battery life is proving to be exceptionally good.I am using it as a security camera in a hallway, with motion detection on high and night vision on for four days now, and the battery is still showing approximately 60% full.

Once I'd figured by trial and error how to connect phone directly to camera it appeared to be a good device for the price. Unfortunately the feature I really required was the ability to remotely access via the internet and it refused to connect to the router so ended up returning.The setup instructions in the app don't exactly match the device so bit confusing at first. The app generates a QR code that the camera is supposed to scan to configure the wifi connection. This refused to work in my case, only found by accident that if leave app to time out after about 90s then get option to connect phone directly via the camera's own AP (unsecured it appears). Once I had the direct connection the app let me access the camera's settings and view video etc. This all seemed fine and the videa quality and motion detection was ok. Problem was though that I specifically needed remote access and notifications to work, not possible without a wifi connection.Found that once had direct connection could then set up the wifi connection for router via the settings. However once I'd done this the app refused to connect again directly or via router and had to reset everything and start again. Possibly it doesn't like 5GHz or WiFi6? Paper instructions say it only works with 2GHz whereas app instructions say it needs 5GHzIn summary, seems like a nice little covert camera but your mileage may vary.

So I bought 2 of these cameras in hopes of not using WiFi coz I wanted to stick them in my car to catch someone vandalising my car. Not the instructions in the booklet say one thing and then customer care say another. Apparently you can nurse a 4g sim card in these BUT NO SIMCARD FITS in the camera so I'm right back to square 1 and rather frustrated. No problem connecting them to WiFi but I need it to not run on WiFi... very annoyed

The app makes this a great camera. Easy to view it in real time, change motion detection to detect humans only, set activity zones to avoid false alarms and even listen in. Night vision is surprisingly good too. You can adjust the angle of the camera by hand which could be useful for a specific viewing angle. Charging time takes 2 hours. Continuous recording on WiFi mode is 4-5 hours. If you save to an SD card on motion detection only it says it can work for up to 90 days. Nice and compact and charges with a USB-C cable.

Bought to keep an eye on family pet when we are out as dog has seperation anxiety along with the wife.Able to look how the dog is and wife’s anxiety at leaving the dog is held in check.Makes my life taking the wife out a lot better.Able to loop far a day and also onto proper SD card if needed.Well worth getting for the piece of mind given-Dog calms down after we leave the house and its good to know.
