Do yourself a favor!
I bought this timer to automate and control my outdoor sprinkler pump. I have two zones that I wanted to water three times a week. I needed a total of 12 scheduled timer events. Six to turn the sprinkler pump on and six to turn the sprinkler pump off. The app on my phone made setting all these events very easy. I had previously been using an Intermatic analog timer, and I never could tell which day the pointer was pointing to or if it was going to be turning on or off. When the clock function stopped working on the Intermatic, I decided rather than replacing the time clock in the unit I would just replace the entire unit. I am so glad I did. It’s such a pleasure to not have to go out to my pump every time I want to turn my sprinklers on or off manually. Also, I connected it to my Alexa app and that works seamlessly as well. Installation was straightforward. The Wi-Fi hook up went very well and so far I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Should have switched long ago
I was very skeptical this was going to work and even more skeptical it was going to be worth paying a little more for a WiFi version of a pool timer when my original mechanical timer broke. It's only been a couple days but I am very impressed and wish I would have done it years ago. It was so easy to install and connected to my wifi on the first attempt and has stayed connected without any issues. I was concerned the connection might not work well being outside and having occasion connection issues in the house. The connection is solid. My router is on the second floor in middle of my house and I installed this on an outside wall a few feet off the ground. You can press a button in the outside box to turn pump on or off which is the extend of what you can in the box itself without the app.Heres what I love about this. with the App you can set multiple timers if you want which many timer can do so not to big of a deal. You can also manually turn the pump on and off with the app outside of set timers and see the status of whether the pump is on or off. So I add liquid chlorine in the evening after the timer has shut the pump off. I used to have to manually turn the pump on and off when I did this. A set timer doesn't work good because I do it at different times and really only want to run for a short time to mix the chemicals, which brings me to what I like the most. There is a countdown timer that turns the pump on if its off or off it its on when you set it. So when adding chemical I turn the pump on in the app, then start a countdown timer for 30 minutes and done. You should also run the pump anytime people are swimming. If its outside the normal run time, you can either turn it on and off when you're done or set a countdown timer guessing how long you'll be using the pool.I really like the ability to control my pump from where I'm sitting and not needing to go to the pump. I like being able to look in the app and see if the pump is running. An I really like all the timer options. Definitely worth the price.

Easy install, good quality
Easy install, good quality, has a safety panel (not all products have it).Works with Amazon Alexa. The app (at least on iPhone) is deficient: on the main screen it shows the product, but it does not show if it is on or off. If you plan on operating it using Alexa, its not an issue, but rather annoying otherwise.

Works...but beware...a power failure leaves the system off when power returns.(Load is off)
The media could not be loaded. Overall, the system works. I used the switch/timer for my hot water heater. I did have to upgrade my wifi extender to better cover the garage where the switch is located but this was no fault of the switch/timer.My only complaint is that if the power is interrupted, the switch is in the off state when the power returns. (The load is off after the power is restored.) This can be a real issue for people with load controllers on their home (energy management systems) or areas with intermittent power failures. (If you don't manually turn on your water heater after loss of power/restoration, you will have no heated water when the power returns.) I wrote the customer service people at DEWENWILS. They answered in just a few hours (good job) with a few line response saying there was no way to have the system come up in the "load on" state. They suggested that I should put in a number of "timer on" events to eventually turn the hot water heater back on after a power failure. However, I have found a way to force the switch to turn the load on after a power failure and power restoration. The trick is to use the "circulate" mode to turn the switch back on. Let me give you an example. I want my water heater to be off after 9:30 pm. I then want the water heater to turn back on at 4:30 am and then to stay on until 9:29 pm. I do this by setting an off event in the "schedule" mode at 9:30 pm (as expected). Then I turn the water heater on using the "circulate" mode with a cycle time of "4:30am on and 9:29pm off. The start duration is 16h 58m and the end duration is 0h 1m. This means that the system can't be off for longer then one minute. Once the circulate cycle starts, the hot water heater will always turn back on after no more then a minute, once power is restored! (I have tested this multiple time using the circuit breaker to cut power and then turn the power back on.)Quite honestly, after I realized how will this worked, I wondered why the customer support team at DEWENWILS didn't suggest it. (Maybe it was just too easy to send back a quick note to the customer and be done?)I gave them four stars because they should either tell people about this issue or suggest a solution.

Works fine initially then totally unreliable
I’ve had this product since June. Bought two actually. They worked as expected the first month and now have to factory reset them all the time to get them to work.Just went with the intermetic for overall quality. Thought I’d try the cheaper option and really disappointed.
