Taking me back to the good old days!!!
The media could not be loaded. Over 5000 retro games from various platforms, including PS1, Sega and Nintendo, and many more. Most of my 80's favourites are here on one compact console, with its own integrated screen. The games are preloaded on the supplied 64gb micro SD card. There's even a capability to download your own games, but I've not had a chance to test this feature. The console is compact and lightweight and appears to be well made. The lid flips over to cover the screen and joypad controls. It's held securely by use of strong magnets. The 640x480 screen resolution looks good, and it's full colour. The joy pad and other buttons can be configured to mimic any one of a number of game controllers. Occasionally configuring the game controllers to the actual game was a bit hit and miss. The device has Bluetooth and WiFi capability. However, it's more than a games console. The addition of a second micro SD slot coupled with preloaded apps allows you to listen to your music or watch downloaded movies and even listen to audio books. The sound from the internal speakers is fine for games, but a bit tinny for music. The console does have a standard 3.5mm jack for wired headphones, or there's the option to use the Bluetooth feature. Also included are a USBc charging port (charging cable included) and a micro HDMI output for connecting to a bigger screen. The console will certainly be one of my main travelling companions. It's great if you love retro games with retro graphics. With all the features included, it represents really good value for money, and I'd be happy to receive it as a present.

Fun retro console
This retro game console is fun and it feels decent quality. It does feel overpriced for what you get as some of the games aren’t that thrilling. You can play other games via a SD card.

Great Console, but Gameplay Felt a Bit Flat for Me
I was excited to receive this product, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The product itself is quite good—the build quality is solid, the finish and detailing are great, and it’s a convenient size for travel if you feel the urge to play something from the days of old. The screen is a nice size, and there are plenty of buttons and controls for gameplay.Unfortunately, I found the games and gameplay a little flat and bland. Perhaps I set the bar too high, as I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Navigating the menus and finding the correct buttons during gameplay can also be hit-or-miss at times. As expected, some games port better than others, and I noticed this with several of the ones I tried. I also found that some of the games had small fonts that were difficult to read, appearing blurry and fuzzy on screen. Surprisingly, the built-in speaker didn’t sound too bad, despite the speaker grill being made up of just a few pinholes in the case. All in all, if I received this as a gift, I would probably appreciate it more than if I had to justify spending the asking price at the time of this review. These are just my personal observations, but your experience may differ.

Neat flip out games console - but feels expsensive for what it is !
So the things I liked about this are:1. Small, handbag sized flip out games console, rather like a Samsung flip phone, but a bit larger2. Silver plastic case - nice, plain but good for all ages3. Gameboy-esque button styling - a bit retro4. LOADS of game options - ideal for retro gaming fans5. Excellent screen quality - it all looks really good on the actual screen6. Decent sized screen considering size of console7. Intuitive to use - not complicated to plug and play quickly !What I didn't like:1. Gaming buttons feel a bit cheap when you press them2. Unit feels a bit cheap when you flip it - feels plasticky3. Some of the options (SNES games for example) show [no files] when selected which is a shame4. Sounds are a bit tinny/cheap5. My son can get many of these games for free on his mobile phone via a game emulator app - so I'm not sure that he'd want to carry his phone AND this gaming console - he'd probably rather just keep his phone with him6. The pricepoint is very expensive, in my opinion, for what is more of a novelty item I feel rather than a serious piece of gaming kit.Overall, its a fun item, more of a stocking filler for a retro gaming fan or teenager - but its not at that price point as its an expensive piece of kit. To me, with the quality not feeling 'expensive' I think its overpriced, together with finding several of the games files 'empty', I can only award this three stars out of five.
