The fuse holders are a hard plastic like Bakelite so the threads work well and the fuse is tight. Great product overall.

Normally when I buy a fuse, I expect, in a worst case scenario, the fuse to blow. However, in this case, the fuse holder itself seems to be what blew leaving the fuse stuck inside melted plastic...Upon further research, these fuse holders seem to be good for low current applications, but I can't say to expect much from the higher end of the fuses. I'm not an electrical engineer, so I don't know if it is reasonable to assume the fuse holders can even handle the current for all the fuse sizes that come with this kit. I was running a 10A fuse on my 3D printer's 24V 8A heated bed when the holder blew. It is possible that the vibrations from the printer loosened the fuse holder and made the connection bad. Even if that's the case, I'd like to know this fuse holder is not made for vibration sensitive applications so I could find one that is.

I installed this fuse holder and used it with one of the supplied fuses. During normal operation (current was under the fuse limit) the holder melted and burned a hole in the mat on my workbench. The problem is the totally inadequate physical connections to the end caps of the fuse.DO NOT BUY!
