This machine is a bit larger than I expected, but it is easy to use, has plenty of power, and based on our early usage does a great job. The instructions worn against chopping, ice, but it easily handles fruit, and other solids that we have tried. It is not particularly quiet, but I have no other machines with which to compare it. I think the blend quality is excellent, and we have detected no leaks so far, keeping in mind that it is brand new.

So this really is an amazing blender. It does everything it says it does, and I could probably use it as a portable wood chipper.But holy smokes is it big... my old countertop blender is only 2/3 the size of this beast.Now, it's gonna make a LOT of margaritas next summer... like I'm going to be putting some of my friends under the table after the 2nd batch... but for purposes of making the occasional smoothie (I rarely make them), it's really overkill.IF you are a smoothie person, and you do a LOT of stuff with a blender, then this is your dream blender. For me, it's a whole lot of overkill, and definitely takes up too much room on the counter (so it's taking up a lot of space in a cabinet).Definitely a good piece of kitchen equipment though.

I have been drinking my superfood smoothie for several years--kale, spinach, broccoli, whey powder, turmeric root and ginger root, berries and more, plus unsweetened cocoa powder, plus raw oats, mixed with almond milk. The color is a bit khaki, but the taste is decent, and i get a day's worth of veggies and other healthy items. I finally wore out my nutribullet, and decided to get their super sized, powerful blender. It worked great this morning!

I bought a 35 dollar processor that leaked no matter the adjustment. Onto the floor! I paid over one hundred for this guy, but glad I did. Quiet, no leak, easy to use.
