Easy to install, sturdy, well worth it.

My roof rails look parallel, but they aren't they are 41" apart in the back, and 44.5" in the front. These cross bars take that into account, and the longer one goes up front. You have some flexibility where they will fit; I put my front ones immediately behind the single moonroof. Good thing, because when I checked the clearance when opening my moonroof, it would have hit the crossbars (or come too close) if it was mounted about a foot more to the rear. The instructions seem to say the side brackets can be used anywhere but that isn't the case, and each is labelled whether it is right or left side. The bars are also labelled front and rear, and they are directional; wider side to the front. I put the rear one just behind the back door.As other reviewers have noted, you have to completely remove the two bolts inside each of the four side brackets, that hold the grabber bracket that grips the side rail; otherwise, there isn't enough room for it to go around the side rail. This is a huge pain, because there is the nut, then lock washer, then washer, and it is hard to get them all back on without them falling into grooves in the bracket. Do not lose these, as there aren't spares of everything and you will have to go to the hardware store. Also, be very careful not to damage the roof of your vehicle; while the grippers are rubber coated to protect the side rails, there are edges that can scratch your Telluride. This is easier as a two person job. I found it worked best to put the two brackets onto one of the bars; remove the grippers; place the grippers around the side bars, then slide in a gripper and bolt into place, one side and then the other; finally, tighten the four screws (two on each side) holding the crossbar in the brackets. Then repeat for the other bar. Again, position carefully to avoid the moonroof.The quality seems okay, fairly heavy duty; however, there were several places the black paint had chipped off the brackets, exposing bare metal. The key is enough to discourage theft of the bars but won't stop a determined thief, so don't leave valuables on your roof at night. The lock/unlock guide on the bracket cover wasn't correct, but it's obvious how it works, and I like that the key won't come out unless it is in the locked position, preventing them from falling off. They hold securely on the side rails. I removed one and there was no damage to the side rails, but don't overtighen. Just tighten enough to stay securely in place and slightly more.I look forward to using these with my ski rack.

Would rate higher if better delivery experience.Roof rack is solid and seems good quality. It is bigger than i expected. The proportions look bulky on the car. Some people might like that look but I'll probably remove them when not expected to use for long periods of time.Ignore the instructions... you have to fully remove the nuts first.Very low, if any, wind noise.Ordered the improved heavy duty design. 1 week delivery. No tracking number or shipping notice. On the day of estimated delivery recieved message saying delayed 1 week. After one more week, got another notice for one week delay. The Amazon web page still said it was in stock. After another week, got another message saying "delayed one week, so you still want it"... yes. After one more week, another message saying "shipping delayed, unknown delivery date". The Amazon page i ordered from now said basically same thing but there was a new page for the exact same item, same snailfly seller that said in stock. Canceled original and reordered for 1 week delivery. This time i got tracking info but after a week... message for delayed delivery. Finally got it after 6 or 7 weeks.

This was surprisingly very easy to install. Instructions were clear enough and it locked into position. Easy to adjust and slide back and forth into position. Comes with tools and is enough to install, no additional needed.There is one thing you should save yourself the trouble with... The instructions (Step 2) says "Do not fully remove bolts." You absolutely should remove the bolts! It makes the installation much easier and faster!

We got this for my Telluride. It was super easy to install and works amazing. We can strap so many items to the cross bars. It looks amazing on my vehicle
