This thing would grate the skin off the bottom of an elephant’s foot. Callouses, corns, and bunions stand no chance. A few strokes with this and your feet will be a smooth as the day you were born. Be sure to clean it before you grate your Parmesan. The smell will make it hard to tell what you’re actually eating.

I use the "Coarse" model for grating things that I want finely grated, like parmesan, garlic, ginger, and lemon zest. I use the "Extra Coarse" model for grating softer cheeses like mozzarella and cheddar, and also for grating vegetables including onion, celery and carrot. These are superb tools and I would not want to be without them. The protective plastic covers are nice to have. Excellent blade design lets me easily slide the grated material off of the grater.

This is a nice grater to replace my box grater. Easier to clean and just lay it across a bowl to add to ingredients. Also easier to store.

Big fan of Microplanes and love reducing the plastic in our kitchen. A bit pricey but this should last for many years.

Very disappointed. I have an old microplane professional that I've loved for ~10 years, but it was starting to fail so I bought this to replace it. They changed the design and now the handle is plastic on the inside and where it joins to the body. One my third use it pulled apart. I didn't order the professional to get cheap plastic crap that comes apart while I'm using it!

After some time of use, the plastic handles (or some other composite material) breaks from my grating, zesting tools. Now, with a full metal, sturdy grater, all good.

Handle is already loose and broken, purchased less than 3 months ago.

It is so easy to use and clean. It shreds beautifully, and the cover it comes with is great. Definitely worth the extra money to buy American
