Fixodent Control Denture Adhesive Cream Plus Flavor Scope, 2 Ounce

Fixodent is a good product. Keeps my partial intact.

I tried Super Poligrip and a generic denture adhesive and was not pleased with them. Super Poligrip seems to last me on average 3 hours or so, before my dentures come completely lose, and sooner when I do a lot of eating. The generic denture adhesive was even worse then the Super Poligrip. Fixodent is by far the best, at least for me with full upper dentures and partial bottom dentures. I apply Fixodent early in the morning, and it makes my dentures hold firm almost the whole day, in fact I don't really need any more adhesive until the next morning. The nice Scope flavor is also an added benefit!

Used other products but this works best for me. Holds well but difficult to remove from mouth.

My husband likes the thin tip and this is the only place where we can find it.

This is the very best denture adhesive that I have ever tried. And believe me, I have tried them all. I especially like the small nozzle for the the distribution of the cream itself. It makes it neater and more convenient. I also received it in good time. I will order it again.

Doesn't hold as well as fixodent plus precision hold in silver box.

Product is pretty standard fare in the world of denture adhesives. It holds pretty well for roughly 8 hours, then begins to relax its' grip. If you're a coffee drinker as I am, the hold will last even less. For some reason, the addition of Scope flavor to the adhesive seems to make it less effective than the Fixodent that doesn't have the additive. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the chemical composition of the flavoring, or some other force is at work here; but I know I get much less holding power with this particular brand of Fixodent than I do the standard one.The smaller application tip on this tube does make it easier to apply in smaller amounts for better ooze control, which I like. The flavor, while not exactly like the mouthwash as the label implies, is certainly better than the non-flavored Fixodent. This isn't a requirement for me, but I did think it an interesting notion, which is what prompted me to purchase it to begin-with.Due to the shorter holding-power of this formulation, I probably won't purchase again, but all in all, it does pretty much what a buyer expects it to.

It actually really, really holds your dentures firm for 12 hours. Unlike the others, this one, if you follow the instructions, will keep food from getting under your dentures, and that's a great thing! I highly recommend it and I'm ordering more.
