Great Idea!
These are about 4-5 inches long with a "grippy" side. They are peel and stick, I use them on my hobo bag which is not lightweight by any stretch of the imagination. THEY WORK GREAT! I have not tried them on any narrow strapped purses, but they sure do the trick on a wider strap purse. I highly recommend this product!

Works wonderfully

the non-adhesive side works well, but the adhesive could use some work
the adhesive side doesn't stick for very long - it is sticky enough when you first apply it, but it doesn't stay stuck for very long, and the more it gets bent the less time it seems to be able to stick.
