If you're not used to using really sharp knives, I'd be real careful with these until your used to using them safely. I've always used just basic knives that are semi-sharp. These being really sharp, I found myself cutting myself left and right l until I learned how to handle them safely. Knives look great and cut great and are we're at a reasonable price.
