This Month by Month Expense and Income Tracker set of 12 envelopes are made out of heavyweight cardstock with tape under each flap for sealing. These 11.4 x 9 envelopes look very clean, orderly, and well made. This is a handy monthly receipt collector with log sheets printed on either side for expenses and income. No more small envelopes overflowing with receipts swimming on countertops, in cars, or purses. This is a serious monthly receipt organizer set.The flap tape seals tightly and is not really useful for regular opening/reopening the envelope flap. It is not easily done without tearing a tiny bit of it off. This is a good thing if you want to seal important documents away with a good seal. I like an envelope that seals with tacky tape that can be reopened if needed. Like needing to put more items in or out after that month.I think that these nicely flexible envelopes are extremely useful planning tools, and sturdy enough to handle some rough handling or coffee spills during a busy month.

I really wanted to use these for tax purposes for 8.5"x11" sheets, but they won't fit well unless folded. The size of paper will barely fit and makes it difficult to insert in the sleeve. For smaller receipts, these envelopes are ideal.
