Leather is the only type of cell phone case I will use because I am trying to avoid exposure to plastics in my life. This case is a beautiful genuine leather. A sample swatch of the leather was included in the package to confirm it is genuine leather and not an imitation. The case fits securely on my new iPhone 16 Pro and the opening on the right side for the camera access is just right, not too large. This is a quality phone case and I highly recommend it. I want to add that the seller sent me an email with specific care instructions to preserve the quality and beauty of this leather because it is very important to them that we take good care of their product.

I normally don’t write review, but I have to do it for this project. I’m so impressed with the quality of the leather. It feels elegant and has a good grip. the bottoms are super easy to press and it’s not bulkyIt’s actually the same size as iPhone original silicon case.

My case arrived today, and I immediately put it on my iPhone 16 Pro. I was immediately impressed with the quality of construction; the other reviewers are right about that.Unfortunately, I can't get my Apple Mag Safe charger to work. Part of the issue is that the leather is too thick for the magnets to stick. I tried holding it on manually (and even tried holding the charger on using rubber bands), but had no luck even getting the phone to recognize there was a charger connected. I took the case off and tried the charger again just to make sure the charger was working -- it works just fine -- but I lost the ability to charge once the case was back on.Since one of the main reasons I went with this case was that it was advertised as "Compatible with Magsafe," to say that it was a disappointment is an understatement. I'll look around to try to find a different case that actually does work with magsafe charging. This one was a waste of money.

The case has a narrow piece above the camera button. When removing the case this piece naturally flexes quite a bit because it is by far the weakest part. Unfortunately that piece broke and now it snags when sliding in and out of my pocket.UPDATE - 12/13/24 - Belemay reached out and offered a full refund and apologized for the broken case. I asked for a replacement instead and they quickly sent a new one. I have a reminder to update this review in 3 months to report on the durability of the replacement case. I've updated my rating to 4 ⭐️. Overall I love the leather and the original case was starting to have a nice patina. It's just the weak point by the camera button that has me concerned. I'll keep you updated.

First impression of this case since the iPhone 16 Pro just came out:* Camera Control buttonThey cut a recess out of the case for the new Camera Control button, but IMO they didn't cut enough. Interacting with the button, and it's associated swiping motions requires I use the very tip of my finger due to the case obstructing it. Not ideal.* ButtonsThe buttons on the case feel harder to depress than directly on the phone. I know this is a common problem with all cases, but this is the worst I've experienced in the last 6 cases I've bought for other phones.* Camera bezelThe camera bezel is noticeably taller on this case than other cases. It's enough that tapping on the phone while on a flat surface makes it rock back and forth. From a side profile, the bezel stick up past the camera lenses a few millimeters. That could've been shaved down to be almost level with the lensesOverall, not a horrible case, but they clearly didn't nail it with the new changes in the iPhone 16 Pro.

I've been using this case for a few months now and I've grown to really love it. It patinas nicely and is showing no signs of any significant wear and tear. When it inevitably does wear out I will be looking to replace it with the exact same model. Also, the MagSafe area on the back works just fine. Because it's leather, I'd say magnetic mounts are a *little* less strong, but it holds to my nightly charging stand just fine. The magnetic mount in my truck has dropped the phone a couple of times when terrain got rough, but I know now to not trust the magnetic mount when I'm anywhere near an off-road situation.

Case itself looks fairly nice, leather looks and feels good. I was hoping to like the brown more in person but I would've preferred something darker or lighter. Buttons are decent, clicky, though the power button felt slightly muted compared to running it naked. Case fits very snugly and I was a little concerned about damaging a button while taking the case off... you're going to putting this one on and off regularly.The biggest ding against it is that the camera cutout is not tapered; it's just one long hole that makes it very difficult to press the camera control button. That button already requires a little too much force to click, but with this case you'd have to push quite hard to get through the case and actuate the button, which moves the phone and may make you more liable to drop it if you get bumped or something while putting pressure on it. As well, it's almost impossible to use the sliding motions to change settings with the button.I've decided to return mine due to the compromised ergonomics of camera control, lackluster button feel, and mediocre brown color. Some people will have no issues with this but I wanted to add my two cents.

1 year review. I have dropped it countless times, spills, auto repair YouTube in the garage. The phone case of a busy dad, that gets clumsy sometimes.What a great case, protected my phone and loved the patina change the longer I had it. I didn’t need to change it, I just wanted to start fresh with a new one to make this review. Worth it, buy this case!
