initial thoughts are good. nice and bright.

Bright light for it's inconspicuous size. Used not through license plate mounting, but one light mounted above which was plenty of light.

At this price I wasn't getting my hopes up. I bought them to light up my motorcycle plate which I custom mounted under the seat. During installation I was very careful because I was afraid of snapping the little bolt or breaking a wire. Surprisingly you can tighten these suckers pretty tight. Construction was solid for an item under $10. They are pretty bright and work as advertised. Also act like an underbody glow kit (I have yet to see how the cops feel about this!) Shipping was very fast as well. The only drawback is that the wires are a little short but other than that I'm extremely satisfied!!*Update*I've had these on my bike for over a year now and they are still holding tight and working perfectly. I get enough vibration on my bike to blow tail lights every 3-4 weeks yet I haven't had a single issue with these plate lights. in fact i just ordered another set for my other bike. Highly recommended!

Solid, good price, but most likely would not buy again. They're not plug and play which is ok, however the wires they're replacing are a completely different gauge and it's so tiny and fragile looking. I haven't been able to splice and get them installed yet.The design is a semi-permanent installation, meaning that if you need to remove your tag for any reason (adding a frame, moving to a new state/ new tag, selling vehicle) you will need to completely uninstall and re-install these. It's a minor PITA, but a PITA nonetheless. I'm scared that when I need to unplug the electrical: The wires will snap apart (It seems like a 20-22 gauge wire?)I'd prefer a design where it's easier to change the plate without having to do a complete uninstall. I'm willing to pay a few dollars more.

Very bright, stylish to match the led bar on my suburban and great price! I would buy again, I've had them installed for a couple years now.

Fits great easy to wire in. No protection for the led. I doubt they will hold up in the rain.

One word... (BRIGHT). I put these under the tail section of my z1000 to light up my plate. Install was a snap. just run the wires through the bolt holes and fasten the nut on the bolt, then just hook up your wires. Mine are angled inwards and down from the top of the plate and it cast a bright glow all over the road. not only does it light up the plate but it acts like an underglow kit for the rear of my bike. may just get some more and do the front and mid sections.I havent had them installed long but so far so good. hopefully the hold up a while.

It's got too much heat on the job and it's likely to break down soon.Its quality is so poor that it's not worth the price!

Haven't installed yet but tried on battery. They work great. Very bright.
