I must say, this device was very easy to set up and actually connected CarPlay to my phone faster than my factory truck radio. And at first it seemed to function quickly and with everything working just fine. But the longer you use it, the quirkier it gets. Maybe it is heat related. I tried it in two vehicles, same exact results. Screen would just blank out randomly. And audio would get statically, breaking in and out. This is not good for playing music or trying to use your favorite GPS app. I returned it and replaced it with a different brand and so far, so good. Maybe I just got a defective unit, but I cannot recommend the iHeylinkit CarPlay unit at this time.

I just leased a 2025 Mitsubishi Outander and it comes with wireless Carplay, but you need a cable connection to your phone for Android Auto and I have an Android phone. I tried a less expensive adapter, and it had connection problems. This one seems to be working well. Once linked to my phone, it automatically connects when i get in the car. my only complaint is that it only works with the short cords that come with it. I want to use longer cords to get the device off the center console, but they do not work. I contaceted the company and they said the device only works with the supplied cords. Dosen't make sense to me, but neither does most electronics.

Works great with my 2023 Ionic 5 . It is easy to use, plug it to the USB port. Pair it with my Bluetooth Motorola Android phone. Android Auto starts automatically, have used it with both Google maps and Waze. No more USB to usb-c cable, constant charging and heating of phone. Comes with two cables, USB and USB C. Firmware can be updated, set a Peer-to-peer (P2P) connection. Folks running into issue should try to update firmware. Ip address is listed in instructions, search for videos on YouTube to update firmware, to set tp P2P connection. This is my daily driver now.

This is an absolute must have! I bought this because the Apple CarPlay feature in my car stopped working. No matter what I tried I could not get it to work. As soon as o plugged this device in, it worked immediately! Now every time I turn my car on, it connects automatically wirelessly and I can still charge my phone while in the car. It comes with a regular usb, and a usb c adapter. Ease of connectivity is a plus. Literally plug and play. The device itself is also very durable. Highly recommended must buy!
