Doesn’t work for long
Was easy to set up, but unfortunately as others have said, it does not stay connected to the Internet. It worked long enough to pass the returnable date from Amazon, so I’m stuck with it. Tech-support is very difficult to reach. I had several email exchanges back-and-forth with the company with step-by-step instructions of how to fix the issue, none of which worked. Eventually, I just gave up.

AWESOME!
I did not expect this router to be able to do what it does. Simply amazing for the price. This is a true Mesh router. It can operate in a few different modes besides plain old router. I have a 1Gbps internet connection and this gets me full speed with it's 2.5 Gbps WAN port which matches the 2.5Gbps port on my cable modem. On the other hand I can also get the same speeds using the USB 3.0 port on the modem and router and then I can use the WAN port as a 2.5Gbps LAN port which is incredible in itself. Complete with all modern bells and whistles, the only thing this is not is Wifi7 which is not saying much as this Wifi6 unit allowed my WAVLINK connected Wi-Fi adapters to hit full speed. Both the BE8800 and my older Wifi6 unit can pull full speed. It can also transfer files across the network at blistering speeds compared to ordinary 1Gbps connections. Wired is always the best, as the Wi-Fi can be affected by many circumstances from cordless phones to microwaves, dropping packets and increasing latency. So you get 4x1Gbps Lan ports too. Nimble and speedy, these ports will pull full speed from a 1Gbps connection. Front mounted lights can tell you the status of the router and can also be turned off if they are too bright or not needed. 8 Antennas make it look like a spider on it's back and provide for ample coverage across a home. Be aware that this router isn't any more powerful in the Wi-Fi broadcast arena than any others I have come across. The 2.4 Ghz is a little stronger than my Nighthawks (I have a few) but the 5 Ghz is about the same. I am yet to find a router in this price range that has stronger output though. Included in the software you will find tunneling features, media sharing features through both LAN and USB, and a host of quality of life filters including the ease of restricting any port on the router. No fuss no muss. It has a family mode, however for my needs, being able to throttle anything connected to it was far more useful. Complete with Guest Wifi network and all the usual router features from VPN to Port Forwarding, you get everything with this. I highly recommend this to anyone running a 1Gbps package from their ISP over the ISP router. With it's USB and 2.5 Gbps WAN port, you will not need to upgrade this for a while to come.

fast speeds and good features
I really liked this wIfi router. The speeds were really fast on multiple devices. I haven't had any connection issues. The extra features like connecting the whole router to a vpn server, running a vpn server on the router it self, and a lot of other stuff. The web interface is pretty easy to use and has a decent explanation of every feature I have looked at.

3.8 not the ultimate but very serviceable with respectable performance.
Pros:Ample antenna arrayCooling top an bottomOptical ethernet cord or so it statesMany modesAuto mode switchingCompact formFairly priced performanceCons:Very frustrating too set up particularly without PC. Despite this being a feature it toughts.App sometimes doesn't respond too inputApp design is a lil confusing an has not tool tipsSince app may or may not respond it is difficult too be sure if your meant too click were you think a button is.App errors are only displayed for a fraction of a second.App may only flicker on inputApp may take several try too detect devices and is sluggish.App only accepted some changes when made from PC.As of now I've tried it on iOS Android and win. Still I can't get it too wirelessly connect for repeater or mesh mode.I gotta say th UI is not a selling point for me. Compared too the other brands I've used this one is not my first choice.Currently I'm comparing it too a Netgear Nighthawk with one net gear node.I will say the Netgear UI and app have not frustrated me. The node was pretty easy too set up and both give me faster speed test using both iOS and Android. This is not too say it is slow by any means it tends too have slightly improved ping times though it never gets competitive at downloading rates vs node or night hawk.It faired pretty good in in signal strength and uploading rates too its credit, which might make it a better choice for a fast paced gamer who needs pings an doesn't want too shell out even more dough. To wit, I'd like too remind readers that it is much more affordable then my comparison device.I would say it's performance is perfectly fine really it averaged 65mb down were as Nighthawk achieved in the 70s too 200. A lil inconsistent I know. I believe the mesh node did about ten percent faster then our test subject even though it's not using Ethernet. One advantage I haven't really talked about it the adjustable antennas these could be very useful for shaping your coverage or filling in dead zones. I think one might even be able too use a custom ant. on it but that is an experiment an I don't know how it would interpret that mod when it comes too beam forming. All in all I think its about what I'd expect at this price point.Despite it frustrating me I do kinda like it. I would have preferred too rate it higher but can't until I figure out why I'm having issues with it's controls. Its entirely possible it's my fault.I've taken long enough in getting something written about though so this is my experience up till now. Hopefully I can come back and add too this later on.Bottom line; fast but not record breaking performance, fairly priced, and a difficult interface.
