Very useful, easy to lose
The lock slots into the shaped area of the handle when the trailer is hitched up onto the vehicle and prevents the handle from being opened. It works very well but you cannot use it when the trailer is not hitched. It's small and could easily be misplaced or lost but it's a good extra security device.
