Salomon XA Forces Mid replacement
I used it to replace a broken lace on the Salomon XA Forces Mid. It has very good construction, and everything worked fine. It was simple to install. It includes instructions, and you should just replace them exactly as your current shoes are. The laces are slightly shorter than the factory's, but I enjoyed that, as from the factory, they were a little long for me.

Easy-to-use cinch-up shoelace replacement kit
I used the Endoto Shoelace Kit to replace regular knot-up laces on a pair of Salomon hiking shoes. They were easy to install, and the instructions were very clear. I prefer these cinch-style laces to the regular type, as they stay in place much more reliably.

Worst ever.
I had the worst time stringing these shoelaces into my sneakers. Yes, I burnt the tip (do it lightly or the tip will make it impossible to thread). And when I tried to put them into the metal pieces, forget it. I had to cut the laces and deal with them as is. Probably a $1 cost to the manufacturer, if that. Total ripoff.

Use the whole kit- not just the clasp
If you install the clasps on the original Salomon laces, they won't stay tight and will become loose after only a few steps. But if you install the new laces that come with the clasp, they work just fine.

These 'install' and then work just fine. I was a little leery that the metal 'joiner' would annoy meas it bounced against the front of my foot (my Supercross 4's do not have the 'tuck pouch' like some other models, so the extra lace after tightening is stretched out toward the toes on top of the foot), but they are not that heavy. I like that, since you are just tying a knot inside of each end that goes into that metal joiner, you can easily adjust the length by cutting shorter and re-tying (which helps minimize the leftover lace after the pull is tightened up for those of us with models without that pouch).
