Solid, smooth and robust
The unit is very smooth; buttery smooth.As someone who did machining work, this back head is almost perfect. The finish work is flawless. Anodizing is very even.My favorite part to brag about is the locking screws. They are machined perfectly with absolutely zero tolerance but they glide ever so gently when twisting.I have not tested the load bearing on the ball head with my telescope. Currently waiting for it to arrive but as it stands, I’ve got no complaints!!!
