This erosion control blanket arrived well wrapped in a single roll. It was very easy to unroll over the desired area. The blanket could easily be cut with regular house scissors. I was able to anchor it with small wooden stakes. The blanket stayed in place during a fairly heavy rainstorm. Within 2weeks I have a nice showing of grass growing up through the blanket. It worked so well I ordered another roll for a different area of my property.

This is an amazing product! Easy to roll out and mat was full with no bare spots. Easy to cut as well. Purchased a separate Pennington mat and this one by far was the better quality.

I haven't used any other brand, and this was suitable for our purposes, so I reordered another roll of the same. It contains both straw and cocoa fibers between two loose net layers. It seems to be fit for purpose (back yard seriously excavated and reshaped after a hurricane in the mountains) and I will likely reorder again.

Product just as described. Perfect to hold soil on my hillside until plants are established. Appears to be completely biodegradable. No plastic netting.

Our yard was was a mess from recent digging to install a propane line, and the dogs were tracking in the muddy clay constantly. This barrier was easy to unroll, and we were able to cut through the material using a standard pair of scissors. We secured it using garden staples found elsewhere on Amazon.This has held up during rain, mud has not soaked throug, and it appears to dry quickly with sun exposure.If the dogs walk on this covering and nowhere else in the yard, their paws may be a little wet but they're not muddy. We hope this will continue to help to keep our dogs and house clean until we can address the muddy areas in the Spring.

Current partial review of product received.The Straw blanket received and partially rolled out is an appropriate 30" wide, max width maybe 'without stretching 32 inches'. Mat netting width as described of 3' width falls short of Item Description . Length of product has not been evaluated..

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to unroll! As you can see we had to cut around trees which was also easy. There was an adequate amount of straw on the blanket. Fingers crossed that the blanket is actually biodegradable. We also purchased biodegradable stakes to hold the blanket in place.
