Sluban M38-0509 Military Blocks Army Bricks Toy – Black Hawk Helicopter

My son initially tried to post a review. He is under 10 and builds a lot of his own creations from a massive box of brand name blocks. He requested this as his prize for a goal we assigned to him. Other builds have had blocks that didn’t work well or were too easy. This was a satisfying build that took a little time but not so much that he couldn’t enjoy playing the same day. The model is made in a way that it’s durable for play but also not so durable as to make the build process (or subsequent breakdown) unpleasant. It’s great quality for a good price and acknowledges that people have legitimate interest in military themed build sets (unlike that other big name brand that will do theme movie weaponry but ignores that kids and adults alike might appreciate the military theme for anything from historical appreciation to just creative normative play). This was a real win.

I bought this for me because I really like military things. But, because this is not Lego the instructions aren't quite as clear. My son who is 14 ended up putting it together for me over a few days time and it came out really nice. The pieces are strong and stay together well.
