Calcium Carbonate and Zinc Oxide are both not very bioavailable, meaning, they pass through the body with very little absorption. They are bunk ingredients.The ingredient that gives a "boost" is the ginseng. I have taken ginseng before and it gave me the same jitters as this product did. It was not a feeling of boosted energy, but more of a nervous energy, like when you overdo the coffee.Not a good product and I don't recommend it.

I take prescribed medicine for mild hypertenstion. Sure enough, I took a BP reading, as is a daily practice for me and my BP was measured at 160/95! My BP is normally around 140/82, which is already mild hypertension for which I take a the lowest does of Cozzar. If I was taking a higher does of BP medicine for a worse case of hypertension, then this could have been dangerous.So yeah these pills will cause higher BP readings. Is this the "burst of energy" they claim? No other effects could be observed, but I did not take more than two of these pills before seeing the adverse results in blood pressure readings.No taste was observed.Quality of the product is suspect due to necessary non-disclosures for health concerns.Value for money?
