Works like described, very loud for it size

The speaker itself is built like a tank. The magnet on the bottom is pretty cool and useful. The lights on the front are cool too. The only thing is the sound quality. It doesn't sound terrible, but for its size I feel like it should be louder. Also, it's very bass heavy. The highs could be more clear. If not for that, it would be five stars.

Bass and treble is good.

Do NOT EVER EVER BUY ALTEC LANSING SPEAKERS !@!!@!!! they require an app to connect, they DO NOT ALLOW you to hook up to another mobile device, THEIR APP IS WORTHLESS and crashes ALL THE TIME> read further online DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND !! No matter what you thought of them in the past (I used to put them up there with Bose ) they produce GARBAGE !!

No volume control on the base or tremble

Okay so this isn't what I was quite expecting from a small Bluetooth speaker. I'm very impressed by the speaker this Bluetooth speaker the sound is clear and crisp and the bass is just right.The performance of this Bluetooth speaker that connects right away to whatever device you're using I'm using an Android there was no waiting for connection it paired up just as quick as I turned it on almost. But the performance is more than I expected it would be as I mentioned coming from a smaller Bluetooth speaker for a name I'm not familiar with but I'm going to familiarize myself with them rather quickly.It comes with amount so you can hang it or put it somewhere car maybe I can wherever you want to put it and it's got some weight to it and I'm one of those people that if I feel the weight in it it tells me that there's something good inside of it that it was put together well well engineered the design is simple but nice the control panel is easy to see easy to use.This is a really super nice Bluetooth speaker here you have to hear it to really understand what I'm saying but everything is just set just right everything is where it's supposed to be the highs the meds and the base are right on target with each other.I would absolutely recommend this little gem of a speaker here when I first heard it it instantly said to me high-end Bluetooth speaker when I heard the sound course I didn't say that literally but figuratively as soon as I heard it.I'm really surprised and blown away by this speaker the sound is absolutely not what I was expecting so I was very pleasantly surprised and excited.This is an all-around perfect Bluetooth speaker for indoors outdoors that's got a mount the sound it gets loud the sound is clear and crisp there's no static there's no breaking in and out it's a solid connection and it's a solid sound from a solid speaker. That's price just great for what the speaker is I paid almost triple in the past for something not as good as this so this is an excellent value I definitely recommend it especially if you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker and undecided I would give this one a shot for sure you won't regret it in my opinion.

This Altec Lansing HydraBLAST 2.0 is the bigger brother of the great Hydratrek mini speaker and can even be paired at the same time as them.A quick note before the review:-This speaker shouldn't be more than $59.99 (when shipped/sold from Amazon). I mention this, as I see it for $80 which is too much.Positive:-Sounds great for the size and price point. Clear voice and midrange, and the base is good for something this size.-For its size, the stereo separation is good.-Waterproof design, drop the speaker in the pool? No issues!-The rubber bumpers and overall case design should keep this speaker safe even if you drop it on concrete.-Two 10watt drivers can get quite loud.-USB-C charging for up to 20 hours of playback.-Magnetic base sticks to most metal surface I tried in my home, including the front of my fridge! The mounting clamp is well made, is very adjustable, and can easily hold the speaker securely.-Easily pair with other Altec Lansing speakers.Negatives:-None so far.Considerations:-This speaker, like many in this price range, is really directional. Whilst I prefer this as the speaker sits in front of me, it may be of concern for some. If using it in an open room, place it against a wall or in the corner, and it'll be far less directional.Overall:-At this size and price point, it's a very capable speaker that does the job very well.
