Ear Pillow - Memory Foam Piercing Pillow with Ear Hole - with Satin Smooth Pillowcase - 26''L x 15''W x 4''H - Come with Backpack

This is the fifth pillow with holes (in my case piercing pillow) that I have purchased since I first started trying to heal a helix piercing in 2020. This is my fourth attempt at the piercing, and I only tried it again, because I found this pillow, tried this pillow before the piercing, and realized it was going to work. This being the fifth pillow, I have encountered many different problems, including stuffing material that was labeled memory foam but really wasn’t, it was shredded material that began to move away from the bottom part of the pillow below the hole, the part of the pillow that should support my neck. I actually had to perform surgery on that pillow to add more stuffing, but it still didn’t help, I even tried to purchase a memory foam pillow and make the holes myself. This didn’t work. After reading the reviews, paying close attention to the measurements (both the overall size of the pillow and how far the holes were away from the bottom of the pillow) I decided to give this one a try. I am a 5’-4” average size female (with a short neck apparently). If the hole is too far away from the bottom of the pillow, it doesn’t help me. I purchased this pillow with two holes and that seems to really make a big difference. This pillow is about the size of an average standard pillow as far as I can tell. The other pillows I purchased were much smaller than average. This pillow works very well with my head and neck anatomy and I don’t have any trouble placing and keeping my ear in the hole of the pillow. Other reviews mentioned the material of the pillowcase retaining heat. I have slept on this pillow for four nights, I generally get hot in the night and throw off the covers at some point, but I have not noticed this pillow or pillowcase being unusually warm. It is very comfortable for me, after four nights and a new piercing, this pillow has been excellent. I have recommended it to both my piercer and my niece and will recommend it to others. The seller included several good photos in the ad for this pillow, including a photo with measurements. I definitely suggest you look closely at that photo to determine if the size is right for you. I found both the photos and the description by the seller to be very accurate. If something should change I’ll definitely update the review, but as of now I do recommend it.

I slept for a complete 8 hours with this pillow in over a month on my second night! My ears are sensitive, I have had to leave good quality stud earrings in because my earlobe ear piercings started to close. I'll have to do this for 6-8 weeks. I couldn't sleep for long without tossing & turning because of ear & ear piercing sensitivity. This pillow is about standard size and has 2 offset ear holes, one on each side. I wanted to use a cotton pillow case on it for easy care & cleanliness. It fits a standard or queen size pillow case almost perfectly. I can smunch the pillow case into the holes & my ear can still fill the divoted area without sensitivity. The pillow is a bit hard, but I feel it needs to be in order to support the ear/head & maintain ample support for posture reasons. I am a short woman but have medium sized shoulders. I am only 5'1" and the holes are spaced correctly for me. The holes are off center vertically for different size people. I'm hoping that with continued use my sleep will be longer & deeper. I will adjust the review if I don't get continued results. I've only had it 2 nights thus far. For the price it was a wise investment as my pain relief has been great. My ear piercings have not bothered me & sensitivity has been greatly reduced. There was a sight smell, but I put it in my dryer on low heat with a lavender oil scented dryer ball for 30 minutes - no smell & fluffed pillow in 30 minutes. The pillow seems functional because of 2 holes. I can cover it with a standard cotton pillow case making it easy to clean. I can sleep easily on either side & flip easily from side to side. I also find the pillow comfortable for back & belly sleep. Because of the spacing of the 2 holes, the center is a little softer than the edges. It works great for me & feel in time I will find more comfort with it being a bit firmer pillow.

I love this pillow. I bought it because I got new cartilage piercings in both my ears so can’t sleep on them for a long while. This pillow had much larger holes than many others. I got the two hole pillow so I could flip sleeping sides and not have to move the pillow and when I want to lay on my back, the holes line up perfectly to my ears so they’re not touching anything. It’s just the right firmness/softness imo and gives me good support. I see myself using this pillow even after I don’t ‘have’ to use it anymore.Edited to say that when I went to wash the cover, it only has a zipper on one hole. The other hole is stitched all the way around. I thought maybe the pillow was sliced so it can be pulled around the hole, but it doesn’t. If there’s a way to get it off with one zippered hole and one sealed hole, I can’t figure it out. Have started for a return/exchange so I’ll see if the replacement is the same.Last edit. Received my replacement. First thing checked the zippers. Same as before, but now I see why people had complaints about the zippers. These ones open smoothly and all the way. I didn’t even realize the last one was supposed to open all the way because they felt like they had stopping points hence not being able to get the cover off. So zipper issue resolved. Still love the pillow. Awesome customer service getting a replacement so soon and easy Amazon return at a UPS store.
