This is sturdy, and the adhesive is strong!I have an arthritic senior cat who loves to lie on the coffee table, but because it's such a smooth surface, his back feet can't get a good grip, and he slips, which risks injury. It's gotten to the point where he stopped getting on the table. But I put this on the table, and now that he has something to grip, he's enjoying life again. (It's an inexpensive pressed wood table from Wayfair. I don't suggest you apply this to a real wood/expensive table. The adhesive wouldn't come off.)

My cat loves this. It has saved my furniture. It sticks easily and looks better than the plastic or tape pieces. Very effective would definitely recommend.

Used it to cover wood for my cat’s feeding platform. She doesn’t scratch it but it looks nice and sticks well. Doesn’t stick great to the sides of the plywood but I think with a little glue it will be fine.

I really liked the concept and the material feels nice, but it just doesn’t stay in place.It’s ease of installation The adhesive isn’t strong enough it started peeling off after a day or two. I had to keep pressing it back on, which was annoying. It might work better on different types of furniture, but in my case, it didn’t hold up. Love the color and size though!

Easy to apply and cut to the shape that we wanted for the couch. Almost even looks like it belongs on the couch so it really doesn't even look out of place. For sure keeps the cats from clawing up the couch. Have had it on for a few months an its not peeling off or anything.

Purchased these to hide the mess my cat has made of my couch ends. I have tried: foil, towels, and packing tape - the cat just laughs at me and continues to claw the fabric up. So far, she has not gone near the couch since I put pieces over where she had scratched before. The color matches my couch very well. Only down side is the stickiness of the fabric could be stronger.

This is a great product. Bought 1 small roll to see how it works out. I just purchased 2 more. Easy to measure and cut with grid on the back. Easy installation. Careful of how you remove the backing, it’s just a thin clear piece of plastic. I used this on the side of my pleather ottoman and used the remaining parts on my cat tree instead of replacing the twine. Easy to cut with regular scissors.

The product isn't tacky enough to stay on furniture that "sheds", is fluffy or has a lot of fiber that comes off when pinched between fingers.My little feline friend loves it. The surface is a little softer than the old-school commercial carpeting, so scratching is easy on the claws.It shields furniture well, however a few tips will help consumers get the best value out of the furniture protector:- try to wrap on top of surfaces as well as the target area. Check out picture with a big "1" on this review.- replace once you start seeing the silver backing. See picture "2". That silver stuff gets clawed into your furniture, if the protector isn't replaced often enough. You can get a better view in picture "3". It still comes out, but you save yourself a lot of grief if you just replace it when you notice it's worn down to the silver.- it really helps to "shape" the protector. I cut it to fit over top corners and on the backing of the inside of the storage chest surface that I wanted to protect. see picture "4" and "5".
