As a bald runner I need to protect my scalp and the sunstick works really well for my use case.I find that when I use regular suncream once I start sweating it often runs into my eyes and causes stinging, however the sunstick is a much firmer solution and I haven't had an issue with this so far (the fact its water resistant is a great help) and it allows me to protect my head and neck quickly and easily before a run.It has a nice aroma, a little bit like vanilla mixed with coconut (but it's not overpowering).

Lovely, tiny and packable sun stick, perfect for those scorching summer holidays.I love the form factor, easy to slip in a pocket, no problems taking this in hand luggage either.The smell, is delicious, pure coconut. It goes on easy, but it is pretty heavy-duty stuff. At SPF50, you have to really not want to get any kind of tan, or maybe you're holidaying on Mercury.I love it, can't wait to put it through some extensive field-testing!

Pros ✅I need a high level of sun protection and don’t leave the house without protecting myself.Facial protection has been an issue for me - as never mind how careful I am it can get in my eyes and always irritates them. This stick is so easy to apply and doesn’t seem to slide and end up in my eyes which is perfect.As I’ve said it is so easy to apply and to blend in.Very moisturising.Compact and fits into a pocket or handbag.High level of sun protection.Water resistant.Cons ❌I did find that applying makeup on top of wasn’t great as my foundation didn’t blend well - but I think this demonstrates that it is forming a protective layer.Very happy to recommend and I’m now going to check out the rest of their range.

This Sunstick from Byron Bay Australia brand is such a good idea, it’s small enough to pop in a pocket at 25g in a twist up wax design. It smells nice, though does feel a bit greasy on my face, but it does protect well and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s water resistant but not waterproof, so it will need reapplying when in the water. I’m very happy to recommend it to you too.
