Excellent Watch with Signature G-shock features and premium rugged build. Built To Last !!**Pros**1. It's a G-shock. Really the name says it all. Heritage and class oozes all the way.2. Built to last - Years & years of endurance.3. Looks great.4. Comfortable.5. Features are okay for the price - Don't come looking for features in a G-shock. You would want to look into smartwatches & fitness bands if you are into that.**Cons**1. The major con is the weak and pathetic Backlight - Very ordinary and cheap looking.2. Difficult to use in Darkness and low light as the meters do not blink.3. Lack of some useful features - Come on Casio! We know it's a G-shock but for 7k price i think adding a few useful tools like compass, barometer is a given.4. You won't be able to break nor destroy it - after all it's a G-shock :)

its really a genuine product , i attached some pictures of its quality & looks, about finding original or not ,1) The back side plate is very flat.2) The weight of the product is 70 gram only ( tested , according to casio website )3) it doesn't attract magnets on any steel design portion.4) All the paper stuff and tags of the product ( dealer stamp is not compulsory if you stay in india , as of warranty card with bar code , invoice , original watch is enough to get serviced... That i personally enquired casio authorized service centre about this dealer stamp issue , in other hand you can also register ur product through online , after 40 days of purchase on the website they mention on pack , and those who wanna claim international warranty need compulsory dealer stamp ).5) Don't worry about , watch backside return as JAPAN MOV'T CASED IN CHINA , since its a part of origin like CASED IN THAILAND, CASED IN PHILIPPINES.6) By checking out the auto light , 5 alarms , world time , and other functionalities through manual.7) Timer TMR option : for example in stop watch you put an eye if the lap is 10 min , but in timer it move from 10 to 60 in anti clockwise ones set and then alarms to alert you after 10 min and start rotating clockwise , which indirectly named : count down timer.8) Casio online product hologram sticker.9) with out checking above 8 steps, i done a direct video to check out its originality in 10sec in youtubeAbout Watch : its a different & unique design watch compared to 3000+ models from casio brand.About Battery Cell : sony sr927w * 2 pieces which decently survive 1000 days .Finally : Hope i cleared all the dought's so far , and BTW friends , i shooted a small video in youtube , you just type : vamsi naik casio g shock, you will get my video too, there i shooted only unbox & looks , since casio watches doesn't need reviews , thank you for reading this , catch you in youtube , Hope this review is useful for you , Take care friends , Bye.

Little issue with illumination otherwise an awesome product

This is one stunning piece! G-Shock has always been one of my favourite brands and this being my first G-Shock makes it all the more special. The delivery was quick and packaging flawless! Coming to the watch itself, well it's a cool, rugged looking watch that you just need to have! There are all basic functions like world time, date, stopwatch, timer & alarm (including a snooze alarm). The backlight could be a bit brighter but there's nothing to complain about it, this shouldn't stop you from making the purchase. There's one feature that comes in really handy is the auto illumination feature which automatically lights up the backlight if held at an angle of around 45°, which is our usual position to looking at a watch. The analog hands add a new layer to the watch and just uplifts the look & feel of the product.Finally, I would like to suggest anyone looking at this product to go ahead and make the purchase without any doubt, unless the other watch in contention is another G-Shock! 😛

Good for regular use. Worth the buy!

There is no return option and refund for Casio products, so this will show the negetive impact on the brand and i was lossed 10k by buying this watch without searching details of it. Now they r not willing to refund my amount as my watch was literally not comfortableI am not going to buy anything from this brand and as well as AMAZON. Flipkart is so much better than this apl

It's a great watch for the price. Nice and chunky, looks great and like all G-shock's, it's tough as nails. The scroll wheel at the side is a nice feature that not many other G-shock's have and makes for quicker/easier settings. As other's have mentioned the only real drawback is that the light is almost useless, especially in the dark. Otherwise I have no hesitation in saying "Go for it".
