MAGEASY CoverBuddy for 2024 iPad Pro 13" - iPad Pro Case Compatible with Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro (M4), Enhanced Thickness & Heat Dissipation - Black (5.0 Leather)

The case stopped being compatible with the Magic Keyboard. I’m not sure if this is intermittent or a permanent issue but we will see. So far it does not work as advertised.Edit: 3 stars, the problem is intermittent so not sure if user error or not. Will update again if I find to be user error haha.Edit: 5 stars, because the keyboard works fine all the time, EXCEPT when I plug the iPad in through the charge port on the actual iPad, then it stops the keyboard from working with the case on. However, if I plug the Magic Keyboard in, it charges the iPad and keeps the Magic Keyboard operational while this case is on.

I have had the MagEasy cover before, iPad M2 11" and it worked flawlessly. With my new M4 13" I needed a new MagEasy to work with my Magic Keyboard. Everything is great with the case, fit, function, protection, EXCEPT you cannot fully close the Magic Keyboard cover (see gap in photo). The gap prevent the iPad from charging when the cover is closed as the magnetic connectors are not in contact with each other. For whatever reason this case does not fit as flawlessly as my earlier one. I love the protection and the pencil holder, but if you can't fully close the case what good is it?

The media could not be loaded. I recently got the MAGEASY CoverBuddy for my 2024 iPad Pro 13”, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. I was excited to get a case for my IPad Pro. I got the keyboard as well from apple but they didn’t have any additional cases that fit with the Magic Keyboard. After I installed this case it left more to be desired. The case doesn’t fit quite right, I am not able to close my iPad all the way how I was prior to installing the case. Build quality isn’t too bad besides that issue.

The case is perfect for using the iPad without the keyboard with some protection. Also, the seller was very quick to replace the case when the return window closed due to one of the tabs breaking off. I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent product for the iPad. I have had one on every iPad I have purchased. I’m on my third one now. This is where it lost a star. In order to use my Magic Keyboard while charging, I have to plug into the keyboard itself. If I plug into the iPad, the keyboard shuts off. I took the Mageasy off and the keyboard worked while charging plugged directly into the iPad. Not sure what the deal is on this new M4 13inch With the Mageasy. The Mageasy worked flawlessly on the older version iPads.

I’ve had the coverbuddy on my 13” M4 iPad Pro for all of an hour. I purchased the case to have some protection while the iPad is outside of the Magic Keyboard while writing. I take a lot of handwritten notes so I had high hopes for this case.I’ve read the comments about the inability to charge as the case doesn’t close properly. That could be true. Mine appears to close properly but I haven’t tried to charge it while closed and will not get to that point because the case is going back. The dealbreaker for me is that I loose connectivity to the Magic Keyboard while connected to an external monitor. I’ve confirmed that the Magic Keyboard works as it should while using the coverbuddy. But as soon as I plug in my external monitor, the Magic Keyboard stops working. So, I would have to take the iPad out of the coverbuddy, place it back onto the Magic Keyboard while using an external monitor. Seems very counterintuitive for a product that’s supposed to work seamlessly.

Purchased one for my Macbook pro 11" 2021.. when i got my upgrade to the 13" M4, it was a no brainer to add this to the Magic keyboard. Keeps the pen secure and safe and protects the Ipad when using it off the Keyboard
