Mobil 1 0W-40 Advanced Full Synthetic Engine Oil (4L)

I bought this oil for my Maruti Celerio after doing lot of research on oil grades, oil brands pricing etc etc. My car manual says use 0W20, for optimum performance, fuel economy and protection. I believe this grade (0W20) is suitable for ideal situations and is not suitable for my driving conditions. I live in Hyderabad where the temperatures in summer can go as far as 45 C and above!! where thinner oils get to become too thin to provide any protection. I change my oil every 7000-8000 kms for this reason. So I wanted to go for all weather oil. 5W40 would be optimum for my car engine (Suzuki K10B) and is even cheaper than 0W40. However, I opted to go for 0W40 as it is top grade now-a-days and wanted only the best for my car. I almost bought Motul as I use it for my bike and it is one of the best oils out in the market. However, I have been hearing a lot about Mobil1 so, I bought this oil to try how it works for me. This is a fantastic oil, I drove my car for 5500 kms on this oil and the engine sounds as smooth as it sounded on the first day of oil change. Engine does not heat up as much, idles at lower RPMs, no-change in fuel economy citing that this is a thicker oil and emits less noise and runs much smoother at all speeds. I can confidently run my car till 10000 KMS mark before next oil change. I would say this oil is equal to best of what Motul has to offer. Overall, its a great oil and I would go for this again for my next oil change. I would recommend it along with Motul and Castrol, you could not go wrong with any of these.Update after 10000 kms run..Oil still holds its greatness after 10k kms. Same smoothness and protection. However, i have noticed a dip in fuel economy, not much but noticeable. I did a bit of RCA and understood that i used my car more vigorously and did 4000kms on long runs at speeds of around 120 to 140 (BNG to HYD). So i think the fuel economy drop should not be attributed to the oil. Therefore, i conclude that this is a wonderful and fantastic oil and works great even at limits of your car's capability.

I have been using it for a year now. I change my Engine oil every 10000 kms. Last year I was looking for a better option than usual service center offers in 0w40 option.and I used it ND it felt great so going for it again this time. Definitely recommended for driving in Indian roads. performance will be satisfying

I have used this oil for the first time in my Baleno 1.2 BS6 Petrol. Company recommends to use 0W-16 which I believe doesn't suits my driving. Wherein this Mobil 1 0W-40 seems to be perfect, as it has completely reduced the vibrations and noise. Engine runs seamlessly smooth. Viscosity is good at high temperatures without performance drop. Highly recommended you can go ahead with it.Just be careful you buy it from genuine seller else many duplicate and altered oils are been sold in the market.

Meets API SP and is suitable for BS6 petrol vehicles and A3B4 which is for BS4 diesels (not sure why they didn't upgrade the Diesel spec to ACEA C3). Mobil will tell you that this 0w40 Mobil 1 is their flagship brand, and they're 100% correct. This engine oil works great in all condition with any car. I recently buyed from amazon with 2019 stock manufactured by exxom singapore. When you open the seal it is so tight to open, no smell in oil, pure cheese for your queen.Recommended for-1. Pickup2.-mileage3.- 35% engine noise reduced, race the car and fills like sitting in ferrari. So smooth.4. Way better than shell or castrol. Used these recently. 10% more silence the engine than shell. I personally experienced.5. Air conditioner works great cooling power increased & no lags in full cooling.Once buy then you never go with others. I noticed big differences in shell Helix and mobil 1 is that shell have bubbles in the cane, and oil color is different from mobil 1 and smell also found in shell cane when u opens the seal.Only the thing is that mobil 1 have some marketing issues than shell because India till now import the oil of mobil 1 no exxom center to manufacture oils in india. Because of some purity and privacy issues.

Car engine is very smooth running and pickup also good

This is a superb oil and this 0W-40 is not available at my place. The price is right and I wish I shifted to this engine oil earlier for my petrol vehicle. The seller Shree Ashtavinayak Motors is very nice and addressed my concern about the genuinity of the product, recieved recent mfg dated engine and original product, not to worry even if it is a year old or more since the expiry is very long for this oil. The packaging is so nice that there's isn't a drop of oil leakage. Will buy more from this seller in future and thank you Amazon for the logistics. Thank you once a again.
