Because of an accident that caused my legs to become inconvenient, I thought I would never be able to drive by myself again. A friend recommended this manual control device designed for disabled drivers. The installation process was professional and fast, and the operation was very intuitive and smooth. The first time I used it to drive out alone, I was filled with emotion and a sense of accomplishment.

After several adaptation trainings, I can now drive my car smoothly. The device is user-friendly, not only easy to operate, but also highly safe. I am really grateful for this product!

I got these after a bad leg injury on my driving leg and it has been a godsend not having my transportation needs and wants limited. It is very easy to use and the learning curve was very very short. Warning though, if you do get these, the bolts holding the handle on may fall off. This happened to me on the freeway. Luckily, I was able to get off the freeway and fix them. MAKE SURE YOU PUT SOME LOCTITE ON THOSE BOLTS! Locate will prevent them from coming loose. That is a very big problem but easily solvable with loctite.

Unfortunately, the Brake Bar snap button was defective right out of the box and made it unusable. I believe that this and other similar products with the same design should be taken off the shelf until a safe product can be produced. You could incorporate a mechanical fastener to secure the Brake Insert Bar to the Brake Bar. If you do not upgrade your design with a failsafe connection, someone is going to have a crash due to brake failure.

I feel the need to start with, a family member became a paraplegic (paralyzed from rib cage down) at 47. Needless to say, the past 15 months has been DIFFICULT. Loss of independence and freedom to “get out of the house”. Now, he can - on his own - drive through fast food just because he wants to without asking.We purchased as a gift. It took me about 15 minutes to install. I liked that there is one handle - push on the right and it accelerates- push down on the left and it brakes.Nothing was better for my family member to drive again. Granted ~ it took time to adjust and we live in mountainous region. I feel for the money- it’s worth it.

I got these to aid my paralyzed son in driving his new, to him, side by side utv. They are easily placed on and taken off again, which is handy, as I sometimes use this vehicle and don't need them for me. These work great and provide a safe way for him to operate the vehicle, too. Great invention.
