Keep on eye on levels & gauges with multiple displays!
Works great. Make sure it’s compatible with your vehicle’s year. Updated the unit to the latest firmware when it arrived. Has multiple functions and gauges to keep you on top of temperatures. I make sure my oil and water temps are around 190 degrees before really pushing the car. Plenty of custom colors and adjustments. RPM color can be changed, and audio sound added (beep) for shift indicator. Rear connection is flimsy so make sure its secure when mounting. I used an aftermarket windshield mount since I couldn’t find a flat surface on the dash for the stock suction cup. "Run time" is particularly useful to know exactly how long you’ve been driving and suggested to the developers an auto reset for “run trip” to monitor the distance traveled. ODO already keeps track of overall distance. Both can be manually reset to 0. Rarely use the sensitive gyro functions, but still exploring the unit and would possibly require a sturdier mount/flat surface to get more accurate readings. The auto light detection/text dimmer works well and is clear at day/night with minimal reflection issues. Overall, IMO something that you look at daily, is well worth the money to keep you alert for possible issues & play with the features.

Really good, but warnings/alarms are inadequate
This device was very easy to connect (just plug it in), and it mounts very securely to the dash. The range of parameters this device can read is impressive, but it will not read oil pressure on most vehicles. It measures oil temperature on my Mazda CX5, but not pressure. I had hoped it would read transmission parameters, but no such luck. The display is bright and clear, and it looks dignified enough for an adult's car. ;-)Here's what I don't like: The warnings/alarms are inadequate. First of all, you can't program an alarm for just any parameter. You only have a subset of the most important ones. I had hoped, for instance, to put an alarm on the trip meter, so that it would sound off when I had exceeded 5000 miles. This would be useful as a service reminder. However, I can't do that.Perhaps the bigger issue is that the alarm is too polite. If an engine parameter goes out of range (e.g. the engine overheats), a little brown rectangular window will appear in the lower right corner, and a faint "beep" will sound. The window stays there, but it would easy not to see if you weren't looking at the display, and the beep only sounds once (doesn't keep sounding). You could easily miss the beep if you're playing music, if someone's talking, or if you're driving a noisier car (e.g. my stock Miata).IMO, it would be very easy for the manufacturer to reprogram the thing to flash the screen solid white every second or so (or flash the background white), to grab the driver's attention. Also the non-GPS version of this unit has an alarm output, which would be useful on this unit too. (Some of us can build circuitry to use the outputs that are given to us.) And of course the unit could also have a (much) louder piezo buzzer that doesn't stop sounding until you tap the menu button. One day I might get around to tapping an output off of the internal piezo buzzer to trigger an alarm that I will actually notice. Finally, I would ask that the manufacturer consider a future modification of the 12-parameter screen that just shows numbers. I suggest displaying both a number and a simple bar that shows out-of-range limits. Make the limits programmable and alarmable (e.g. alarm when the gas tank is nearing empty). This way, it would be quick to see if everything is operating approximately within normal limits (just by observing the lengths of the bars). If a bar is too short or long, or has encroached into a red zone (perhaps with the bar changing color), then that would draw attention to the specific parameter that is out of range. This would be a very space-efficient and intuitive way to create an information-dense screen. And I have one unanswered question: Will this thing give me a polite, on-screen rectangular notice if my engine throws a code? I THINK the answer is "no," but I won't know until someday I get a check-engine light. All in all, this seems to be a better product than its competition, and it's certainly better to have one than not! I would definitely recommend it, but I'm not giving it a full 5 stars until the above issues are addressed.

Connector is junk. Save yourself the frustration.
Should have soldered cable right on board. The connector connection becomes useless and this unit causes a person to mess with the unit to try and keep it on than using it.

Amazing units, perfect for cars without temp gauges.
The media could not be loaded. ***For users reporting that the cable falls out of the back, the XS cable needs quite a bit of force to push in and click into place. If it hasn’t clicked, it isn’t locked!***I’ve used and purchased both the Lufi XF as well as this Lufi XS and both work great for my cars. For my Lotus Evora GT (supercharged) as well as my BMW X5 (diesel twin turbo); both lack temperature gauges, with only an indicator light when engine is cold or when engine is overheating. These gauges are easy to install, and once settings are adjusted it is very useful in daily driving or spirited driving. Latency can be adjusted and as you can see in the video, the display closely matches the rpm needle. For spirited driving, the large bar display works great, and you can set the rpm when shift light turns on, the display flashes and sharp beep tells you to shift, so you can keep your eyes on the road.Customer support is great, I noticed that the logo selection did not include Lotus, I reached out to inquire, and within a couple days they sent me a file to upgrade the unit and add the logo. See video. There are so many more features about this unit, but the summary is I’ve tried many units before settling on the Lufi ones, and these have the lowest latency as well as best customer service support.
