I really like my chair. Just what I needed for safety in the shower. If I had one request I wish I could unlock and lock at any point on the bottom of the chair But it works.

This bench really works. I feel secure and am able to shower without help at age 100. That says it all. My daughter and son-in-law assembled it. I would have had trouble with that.

This item is advertised as a sliding tub transfer bench. However, when used with a standard bathtub and with the chair slid to the furthest locking position, the chair does not go to the center of the tub where it is reasonably expected go. Instead, a portion of the chair sits over the edge of the bathtub making it difficult to bathe someone without a significant amount of water ending up on the bathroom floor. Since the bench does not function as reasonably expected, my overall rating is "no stars" and I would not have made the purchase if I had known of the issue.

I purchased this for my dad.... who was living along and was having issues showering. I had caretakers come in to help him but he really needed this chair. I looked at many on Amazon and this one seemed the nicest with the most features for an excellent price. Of course this is an item that isn't delivered in a day or two. Before this item arrived (which it got to me sooner than expected, no complaints there), my dad had a couple of accidents (falling).... so it was time to put him into assisted living, he could no longer live independently. ~~~~ This arrived about a day or two after he had been admitted into a hospital (for falling), so it was not necessary for me to even open it. ~~~~ It did come securely boxed from the company. I did not open or attempt to use, but like I said, from my research, this seemed to be one of the nicer transfer chairs and the price really was better than others. So for that, I'm giving this item 5 stars. I think - had we had the opportunity to use it - it would have worked out well for my dad.

The bath chair is exactly what is shown and promised on the video. It was easy to assemble; it is sturdy, smooth and accomodate the user weel. My only concern is that the chair does ot lock inplace after sliding into the tub. I recommend it.

This VEVOR Sliding Tub Transfer Bench with 360 Degree Swivel Seat, Sliding Shower Chair is so nice and sturdy and was exactly what I was looking for to help me get my Elderly Mom in and out of the shower. In the end I had to send it back because it was too big for my Mom's small bathroom. I really hated to send it back and tried every way I could to make it work, but due to the size and design of the bathroom it just didn't work. I'm so sad it didn't work because this would have made it so much easier to get her in and out. I measured prior to purchase, but didn't take into account that the legs needed to be able to reach the widest part of the tub to ensure the chair would slide all the way in. If you need a chair and you have good access to the wide part of your tub this is the one.

Purchased this for my Mom to be able to transition to our tub to take a shower. Each leg is adjustable height which helps since our tub has an incline on one side. Very well made and easy to put together. solid so we don't have to worry about her falling and has handles on each side that flip up to easily get in our out. Sliding transfer bench is very smooth and easy to transition.
