I was having trouble with the Wi-Fi adapter (Intel AC-7260) built into my Lenovo laptop on Windows 10. Its driver has gone EOL, and there is no replacement in Windows 11. I had to restart the driver every ten to twenty minutes while I was online. Then I purchased this USB Wi-Fi adapter, and Windows 10 recognized the device right away. I've been online ever since, and as a bonus, my Internet Speed test improved by four times. If I was permitted to click on ten stars, I would have.

I installed this, updated the driver and rebooted my computer that supports 2.4 and 5GHz bands.I have a WiFi 6e router, when it was installed the tech measured a speed of 2800MBps on his deviceI get ~ 1100 with this adapter, when I use my built-in adapter it gets at least 1100, my phone gets 1400 (2yrs old)And the machine is 5ft away from the router, direct line of sightTried to be cheap but not worth it

Works great. I was skeptical considering the laptop I put it on has usb 2 but I went from 230 down and 159 up to 559 up and 316 down. Definitely worth the money to get more out of that 10 year old laptop.

Doesn't reconnect when the computer is restarted/shutdown or asleep for a period of time. Speed is fine otherwise.

It was as easy as plug and play. My wifi speed was doubled. I should have bought this year's ago.

I saw the reviews and saw mostly negative stuff, I thought I’d be lucky. The thing I saw the most was about connection, and my experience was no different.Pros: the connection is great, my PC doesn’t have a good connection to my WiFi so this helped and the speed was definitely fast. Driver installation was easy, literally just a software you need to install to make it work, like a few clicks and that’s it.Cons: just like most of the reviews I saw, this device is will only function flawlessly for 3 months.. it’ll still be work but you’ll find yourself constantly trying to connect to the same WiFi over and over again, sometimes even booting you off of the internet and then you gotta fight with it again. So when you use this device it opens a ‘WiFi 3’ tab in your WiFi settings.. yeah after the 3 months you’ll also have moments where that tab will just suddenly disappear. I thought maybe the software required for it had an update or something, so I went back and.. yeah no, the software literally is to give you the ‘WiFi 3’ tab, that’s it. I would say to not waste your money on this.
