All this time I've been doing it the hard way.
Just got this awesome item the other day, and wow! Makes the work almost effortless.Cutting 26 gauge corrugated length wise was a chore, but not any more.It does exactly what I need it to do.I'll admit it will take a little getting used to, but that part is on me to figure out.It chucked right up to my Dewalt corded electric drill.I knocked off one star in the durability category, as The telescoping drill clamp looks to be made out of plastic, or resin, or something not very sturdy looking... time will tell.It did however, fit very nicely over the drill housing itself. It would be outstanding if The telescoping drill clamp was made of aluminum possibly. (just sayin)Other than that looking forward to this item saving me a ton of time working with corrugated materials.

Excellent product.
Im comparison to others ive used this one is by far the best. Compared to Dewalt the snips are angled up higher making it so much eadier to cut. The bsttery doesnt get in the way cutting. And it curves around rigges with ease. Ive owned mine for about 8 months, used it 30 times and works like the firdt time still.

Made the job way faster.
I used this to cut my garage corrugated metal roof back a few inches to install gutters. It took me I swear no time at all to go the 30ft length. Highly recommend!

It works not as good as I wanted
I have cut some metal with this and it does not seem to work as good as the videos show, maybe I'm missing something? hopefully practice will change my feelings on this tool.

Works as advertised. Great hand saver.
I wanted to cut a large 12'x10' entry point into the end out of a barn in place so that I would not have to take down 14' panels. After receiving these shears I tested it on a few scraps in the shed and I was honestly surprised how well they worked on corrugated metal. Granted, there is a steep learning curve in my experience, when you get to the corrugated part of the steel. Cutting in place was a different story at first however, as it was a new learning curve, but after a few sheets I was able to go to town with this thing. What probably would have taken me a few hours to manually cut, and a few fingers, took me roughly 30 minutes.I really like that you can adjust this thing a million ways to get the correct angle. I also appreciate that it utilizes a tool that I already own. If I were going to build barns for a living, I would probably look at a dedicated tool, but it works perfect for my needs. I will say that you need a pretty hefty drill if you are going to use this thing for a while. While my standard Ryobi did OK (it is not the brushless or nicer hammer version), my beefier Rigid made this thing sing.

Cuts like butter
Practice !!!!! Practice. !!!! Practice!!!!!If you do not practice you will screw up and blame the tool. It takes getting used to, read the instructions, you have to cut at a 75° angle start and very slow holding the end piece in the direction that you want to cut, it cuts very quick and very smooth on straight pieces and takes time over the ridges piece. I have several pieces left over from our re-roofing from shingles to 26 gauge metal roof.Start cutting slowly and speed up when you get the hang of it.I originally tried hand shears and that last for 3” and stopped. Buy the correct one for the type of metal you are cutting.IMPORTANT! Where eye protection, high quality hearing protection , and heavy duty leather gloves, and a mask. The cut metal is like a scalpel !!! Use a rasp to blunt the edge down to dull.
