It's a must-have item. I live in Florida, where temperatures can feel like a million degrees (just kidding), and before I bought this Peltier cooler, my camera (Sony A74) would only record for a maximum of 13 to 20 minutes, if I was lucky.With this cooler, I can shoot as much as I want without any issues. It fits well, works like a charm, and is surprisingly quiet on the first speed setting. The turbo or second mode is pretty loud, but at the same time, it cools like crazy

This fan is a must for your camera specially if you plan on running it for long gigs. I can see the instant difference from when we had this fan on the camera to when we did not have it. We never experienced overheating without it but with it it does keep the camera much cooler and keeps it performing at its best.

This thing is a MUST for the Sony A6700 if you use it as a streaming camera in 4k. It took my battery from overheating from 20 minutes to infinite (not really infinite as I haven't tested it past 90 minutes... but you get the drift.. way better than 20 minutes).

Works great and very cool to the touch. Only issue I have with it is the fan noise. Hopefully next version will have a quieter fan. Looking forward to V2 version.

I run this on a Sony ZV-1M2 and it fits and works perfectly.typically I only have to use the normal on mode to avoid the cameras tendency to overheat while recording in 4k and haven't had to use the high mode yet.my review reflects that I do use a mic and not the internal mic as with the internal mic the exaust does blow up and under the cat and the internal mic will pickup a lot of sound.the build quality is solid and installation is very intuitive.

Helps a lot in making sure my camera doesn’t shut off due to over heating.

This fan does a great job of keeping my camera from overheating. I ran a test using a dummy battery and another battery connected to the fan. Note the fan doesn’t have an internal battery. With this set up, I was able to record close to 4 hours until my card became full. Because of the design where it pushes air out the sides, it seems to also, prevents the low temp burn warning sign to come up. Note this is a thermo conductive cooling fan so the back of the cooler becomes really cold and touches the camera. I’ve also purchased the ULANZI version and noticed with that fan(also thermo conductive) the low temp burn warning sign come on. I figured it was because the ULANZI fn blows the air upward toward the eye piece and downward there isn’t that cooling effect onto the sides like the Smallrig version.

No estoy feliz con mi compra, pensé que este tendría batería recargable o que mínimo se podría alimentar de la batería de la cámara, pero no. Si o si necesita una batería externa. Además el accesorio de instalación supuestamente es compatible con la Sony a6700 cuando en realidad no le queda bien y queda bastante suelto….
