Good Quality and Value for money
I have used Samsung Buds for the past 3 years. Compared to these, sound quality was superb. Bass is little low, but otherwise, everything is good.

smooth, neutral DAC; but lacks bass, sub-bass, and soundstage.
i wanted an entry level dac to test out for my truthear hexa iems, and these did just fine! if not better, for the price regarded. they really smoothen out high trebles and frequency, which i sometimes find a little too sharp or fatiguing for my taste to listen to with my iems. these sound slightly warm to neutral, makes it a very pleasing experience to listen through to. i absolutely love how the vocals sounded - they're more livelier, warmer, and more forward. however, i would have seriously preferred a better soundstaging effect and instrument seperation. these are very into your head than out, if i could put it. intimate, closed. i really wanted something wide and open to listen to, but they do not leave much breathing room for the ear for music. instruments are finely detailed and seperated, but these could do better. they're definitely more leaning to the warmer side, for anyone looking. i definetly prefer a more analytical sound with my iems, but these clearly don't do well. these sound supposedly better than its CX31993 predecessors, though.for anyone looking for a more "open" sound, these really fall out of that category! while i am pretty content with my hexa's bass response, these do not par well. i found them lacking adequately for the first time, which i've never experienced before and i was quite surprised to.that said, and regardless, these fair well for the price. they also come with a cute little case! i loved the quality, otherwise. i needed something to store my iem's and dac with, and they had me covered! i totally wasn't expecting they'd deliver that. personally, they tick most boxes. i really like how these sound; but they severely lack in qualities that i was specifically rooting in on, or looking for. that is my only major takeaway. the dac itself feels nice, firm, sturdy, and is built well.

Pretty good sound quality
Would have liked a bit more bass, but otherwise it's a fine product.

Seems more a USB C to headphone jack dongle than a DAC
Seems to be more of a USB C to headphone jack dongle than a DAC. Did nothing to improve the sound quality coming out of my phone. The photos on the listing also seem to be misleading as the written material on the USB C end is different on the shipped product. Also in the pictures the headphone jack seems thicker than what it is on the actual shipped item. (Refer my pictures in the review). Will be returning the item as I don’t think it justifies the cost. Two stars awarded are solely for no hassle return policy courtesy Amazon.

Excellent adaptor
Excellent product. I have purchased it for converting my c type jack to 3:5 mm jack for singing purpose on mobile and am very happy with the result. Price is a bit high though
