Gorgeous and simple. It doesn’t insist upon itself.
Not much to say here. In the best of ways. It’s just a bad ass knife. If you’re thinking that’s a lot of money to spend for a fixed blade, trust, I’m a stingey MF and I forgot about the price as soon as I touched it. Sometimes you overthink it and you want dollars to equal complexity. Sometimes dollars just needs to equal satisfaction. This thing RIPS.I got it in ultem which is where the price consideration comes from but it’s like $50 in some variants in which case there should be no debate. Get this knife.

Great utilitarian knife. Make sure those straps are snug though.
I bought two other knives along this one and this one is my favorite. It rides the line of cool and tool really well. I really like the look and feel of the handle. My only issue is that one of the screws for the straps worked it's way out and while trying to fix it I lost a small plastic spacer so that it spins freely and rattles. That seems like a me problem though doesn't it?

This is a good knife at a good price point
This is a very nice knife. It wasn't very sharp when I got it, by my standards anyway. However, it took an edge quickly. It is 8 in out of the sheath and just a hair over 8 and 1/2 in it. Overall I would buy this knife again or as a gift. Four stars cuz nobody gets five in the first review... After I've carried it for a while I'll let you know if it's an EDC or not.I really like the sheath it's thin enough to be functional but strong enough to be sturdy. There is a discernible snap when you have properly sheathed the knife. Anyone can learn to use their thumb to push off against the top of the sheath at the same time you pull fairly quickly. A small amount of force is necessary to remove the knife. It is an entirely appropriate amount of force compared to the necessity of keeping your blade locked securely in the sheath.Other reviewers have stated to not put your finger in the ring on the end unless you are holding it in a reverse grip. I would say don't use the ring at all as it doesn't sit in a good spot and can press/leverage against your grip. That being said though, I liked the ring pressing up against the bottom of my hand. It has a good feel in my grip.I would love to see a 6-in version of this exact same setup, perhaps without the ring but rather a slightly flared butt 🤔

This is the knife you want.
I took a risk on this knife with Knife with not having as many sales as it did when I bought it. I use it on my ranch daily for random task. I also use it as my hike knife as it is easily accessible. I have one and only one issue and it’s not a big issue. The knife holder after a little of use the screws will get loose and that is the only problem I have ever had and it is easily fixable. I would and will recommend this knife to anyone. Blade has held up with the amount of work it’s been used on. I’m and very pleased with this knife.

For Larger Hands
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to keep in the car. The entire knife measures at 8" inches so I wouldn't recommend this knife for small hands in particular. With my small hands, I usually buy around 3-4" inch blade knives with folding handles. Still, for the shape and sturdiness, I would definitely recommend this fixed blade pocket knife to use as a tool while camping or another similar use. The hard sleeve was an added bonus. There was an extra strap included too.

Be prepared to immediately redo the carry method
This is the second Kizer Fixed Blade I've ordered from Amazon. The first was the Kizer Baby Fixed Blade, and now this one. Both are EXCELLENT knives that will find their way into your EDC with ease. Good blades, very sturdy construction and sharp right out of the box. Fix my large hands well, conceals easily, snaps into its molded Kydex sheaths securely ... what more can I say. Unless, I start speaking about the carry method. This knife was marketed as a "Scout Carry" which is something I've wanted for a while. Knife arrived and looked very promising, until I tried to thread a belt thru it. The loops on the sheath are so small they will not accept a 1.5 inch belt. In fact, they will "barely" accept a .75 inch belt. Not only this, but the straps are secured with snaps. They pop open very easily so trying to carry it Scout style would be a fool's mission at best.I found the previously mentioned Baby Kizer to have the same issue. Great knife, great sheath, crappy belt clip. On the Baby Kizer I removed the junk clip that it came with and ordered a ESEE - 3 Clip Plate that mounted perfectly on it. Made carrying it on the belt or as a clipped pocket carry very nice. So, I did the same with this knife and removed the default hardware. Replaced that with an UlTI-Clip for pocket carry. Works beautifully. Very comfortable and disappears into the pocket nicely. So ..... the knives are worth every penny. You'll love them. But, be prepared to replace the mounting hardware on the Kydex Sheath. Otherwise this would have been a five start rating. But three is as far as I can go having to immediately redo the mounting system right out of the box.
